Description: Practiced in culinary delights made from local andseasonal produce, Didier Robin - chef of La Chenevière - always selects the best ingredients from the vegetable garden for his kitchen. Didier Robin offers guests creative "land and sea" gourmet cuisine, inspired by traditional and regional recipes. His high end menu is perfectly complimented with a wine cellar featuring the best wines selected by our sommelier. The restaurant is open for dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (last orders 21:30) and opens for lunch for large groups or special events.

First, the service was excellent. We got seated in a nice room, away from a noisy group. The waiters were excellent and very nice. You have a lot of choice in the menu. My friend is gluten allergic and thy paid tote notion to her needs making sure she ordered something adapted to her needs. It is expensive though .

“Almost Michelin star..”
Reviewed 18 August 2013

This was a fantastic dining experience to eat here, and if off of the al a carte menu at 55 Euros per person very reasonable value considering the 8 courses..
Amazing bread, a choice of several different types. Very tasty well presented dishes with mini pallet cleansers. Top quality choices of wine that you'd expect from a chateau.
The cheese board was the icing on the cake, an amazing choice of 14 from around France.

“Lunch was Quintessential French Country!!”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

Traveled with 4 family members on a Normandy tour through HeliFirst in Paris which means we flew by helicopter for 55 minutes and landed on the grass at this Chateau for an early lunch. We had iberian ham with melon followed by lamb, salmon, and chicken as main plates. Also tried the 3 Norman cheeses. Desert I had was strawberry ice cream. Terrific food and service! Lovely grounds and interiors. We enjoyed meeting the staff and pictures don't do the setting justice. Very close to everything and our tour guide for the rest of the day met us here.

Chateau La Cheneviere is a lovely chateau with good service, nice wines and wonderful food. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the area. Its not cheap but you will get a great experience food-wise and chateau-wise.

The gorgeous chateau setting, the beautiful dining room looking out to the picturesque grounds, the wonderful service, the delicious, truly gastronomique cuisine - all made for a very memorable and enjoyable evening and warrant a michelin star.
