1 review “Very-well equipped, comfy house in a great location”
We stayed at Green Beach in February (two adults and two young children) and we thought it was fantastic....the property was the best-equipped holiday home we've ever stayed in and was very child-friendly (the built-in stairgate for example was very useful). The garden and grounds are excellent for children (and adults too) and the location is really great - not just for all the D-Day beaches, but for visiting cities like Bayeux and Caen. The very detailed visitor information in the house was very helpful too. We thoroughly recommend it.

1 review “Ideal base for a family holiday”
David and Lynda go out of their way to make you feel at home in their Normandy home. The kids loved the pool, park and the field, playing cricket (lots of outdoor and indoor games are provided) and building a den. We enjoyed the history of Bayeux and D-Day (including all of David's books on the subject). The whole family enjoyed the zoo at Champrepus. The house has all the basics so you only need your clothes and beach towels. There are supermarkets in Bayeux and Port en Bessin (a 20 min walk, 5 min drive). Our mistake was spending only a week in Normandy, it should have been two. We would love to go back and do it all again.

“A fabulous house in Normandy, ideally located for touring the region.”

We have just returned home after a fortnight at this wonderful house. We found the house to be modern and tastefully decorated and more importantly spotlessly clean on arrival. The two swimming pools were much enjoyed by the family. The patio and grass areas were lovely and got much use in the glorious sunshine. We used the house as a base to tour Normandy and the D-Day landing beaches and it was ideal. We had a wonderful time and were all very sad to leave. We certainly plan to return in the future.
