This is a lovely hotel restaurant in an equally lovely village.
I had pumpkin soup as a starter which was delicious. The main course - schnitzel was reasonable but slightly bland for a schnitzel fan like me.
If I had been in a rush this would have been a bad experience because the main course took over an hour to arrive.
I could have rated this as a 3 but think the overall quality doesn't deserve that. My German friends said the food was expensive but I am used to London prices.
