“A spotless room and helpful hostess”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2013 via mobile

This was a good choice for me as a solo female traveler. The room was spotless and definitional. The bed was comfortable. The shower was the typical small size you can expect. It is all you really need. The WIFI signal was strong in my room. I had a nice balcony and view. The pool seemed nice although I skipped it. The only downside if you want to have a typical "Santorini" view is the location. It is within walking distance of Fira. For me I liked the room rate as the lower cost allowed me to splurge and rent a car to see more of the island. Instead of paying 4 or 5 times to have the balcony overlooking the caldera, I had a quiet room by night and by day could explore the whole island. There is sufficient parking in the alley next to the hotel. The hotel has no food service and so there are several restaurants in the near area or you can visit the fancy places in Fira. The room had a small frig and tea kettle so I could make tea and store cold drinks. The hotel has been repainted recently and is now a cream color with white trim and blue shutters and doors. To get there take the local bus to the Katerados stop and then walk down the main street. The road curves a bit and it is about a five minute walk from the bus stop. I would recommend this place. I originally booked for 4 days and then extended for another 4 days because I liked it so much.

This is a review as part of our Island hopping trip around the Cyclades : Santorini, Ios, Naxos, Mykonos and Athens will all be reviewed.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights from late June to early July, we were looking for something central but at a reasonable price as we heard Santorini was quite expensive.
We arrived at the airport on the midday flight from Athens, we were meant to be collected by the owners but they had forgotton, which really was the only small complaint we had.

We were firstly given a nice small downstairs bedroom, en-suite toilet, a/c and wifi. The son of the owner speaks fluent English and was very helpful. The pool outside is not heated (common practice in every hotel we stayed on the Islands) and the coolness is welcome during the summer months!

On the first day we rented quads from a lovely man in Karteradhos (just up the hill on the right) and got it at a good long term deal, beware most places won't agree to rent without a driving licence or at least the licence number.

After a couple of days we were moved upstairs to a lovely room, with all the services our previous room had plus a lovely balcony. Towels and bed linen changed each day.

To give you all an appreciation of how well located Anna Pension is, I'll list the following locations and duration its take from Hotel.

FIRA - 10 - 15 mins max.(walking) 3-4 mins on quad
OIA - 35 mins on Quad
KAMARI BEACH - 15 mins on Quad
RED BEACH - 20 mins on Quad

After 7 great nights spent at Anna Pension we left by getting the bus at the top of the road to the port (we booked ferry with travel agent two mins from hotel). All in all a great stay at a great value for money hotel that made us look forward to our next Island Ios

Great little place located about 10 minutes walk from Santorini town. The walk is easy, but if you're feeling the heat you can jump on the local bus at the end of the street which takes you right into town.

We stayed 3 nights in early July 2011 - it was such a bargain at only 30 euros per night for a double room! We thought there was surely a mistake with the price, but no, it's just a great value place! Anna and her family dont speak a lot of English, but we managed to communicate just fine. Anna even checked us in at 1 am as our ferry from Rhodos was running really late!

There is a great little swimming pool which is perfect if you dont feel like making the trip to the beach (which is only about 10 minutes on the bus).

Great view from reception area, and I think the 2nd level rooms would also have a wonderful sea view.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor have sea views

It was a great stay that myself and my family had in this pension last week! Staff was very friendly and helpful specially with one member of our group who was not felling well.
Breakfast: they provide only the coffee for you to make it. You should buy whatever you need to cook it yourself.
Location: That's the only reason why I don't give it a full mark: it's a 10-minute walk from the main road and then you will have to catch a bus to go to the beautiful beaches Santorini has to offer.
To sumarize it I can say that It is good value for money and I do recommend it! Thanks again!

Lovely Place! Such a great deal! The staff was friendly and Anna and her son treated us like family. They gave us fruit from there garden and rides from the airport. They helped us with reccomdations on places to do and eat. It was about a 10-15 walk away from Fira the big town on the island which was perfect. Two grocery stores, 3 bakeries and a handful of restaurants in the area to choose from. The bus stop was also 5 min away from the hotel so it helped you to access the island. The hotel rooms are basic with a TV, Fridge, air conditioning and shower ins each one. And they are always clean. Ask for a balcony with a ocean view. You can use the common kitchen and make coffee anytime you want, and the wifi is excellent. We would stay here again!

Room Tip: ask for a Ocean view!

Simple but extremely clean and well kept- room had a balcony with a little table and chairs- was a beautiful view of the island. Good location in a quieter part of town but only a 10-15 minute walk to the main tourist area. Fantastic hospitality! The guy who runs it waited for us to arrive at 1 am, let us use his computer to book another part of our trip and was just generally extremely helpful. Had a friendly family-run feel to it and a lovely pool. If you are looking for a simple place this is a great hotel and a great value.
