My husband and myself had a fantastic holiday at the Dionysos Village in Lassi .The apartments are in a lovely position with the most fantastic view ever well worth the climb up the hill. The whole place is spotless, rooms are basic but adequate ,the pool is great and there was always plenty of sunbeds. The staff are great especially Maria on reception and Maria in the bar .Lassi is lovely lots of great restaurants and fantastic beaches .A great holiday couldn't fault anything.

Brilliant place to stay, fantastic views from all the apartments. Every thing was very clean, the rooms, the pool area, the bar and the grounds of the hotels. Beautiful and stunning views when you were by the pool never stayed in a apartment with surroundings as good as this. Plenty of sunbeds with lots of space round them, never had a problem getting a sunbed even when we went down late morning. We stayed here for 2weeks from the 15th of June and the weather was very hot.
Lassi is just a strip with bars, resturants, and a few super markets, but we still enjoyed it ,there is more than enough for two weeks.
Enjoyed all our meals in the evening, always went to Eden bar at the end of the strip for a drink at night, it is a lovely bar with very pretty gardens, now and relaxing ,ate here several dinner times and had there club sandwich which had plenty on. We always had our 1st drink at Aqua marina between 18.00 to 20.00,cocktails were 3 euros and large beer 2 euros the cocktails had plenty of spirits in not just full of ice and fizzy pop.
Hired a moped for 45 euros for 3 days managed to visit a few othe resorts Skala,Lourdas,Sami, Assos to name a few.
Walked into Agostoli from the path at the back of the apartments several times took about 25
mins, also did the coastal walk once from the top end of the strip which was a good long walk, on the way, there is a hotel which is open to the public and we stopped for a swim and drink.
Yes the hill was steep but as previously stated in other reviews you wouldn't get the views without the hill, you have just got to get on with it or you can catch a Taxi up, we only did this a couple of times, and sometimes when we were walking up other guest who were passing in a car offered us a lift up,even the owners even stopped when they were on the way up to give us a lift and it would have been rude not to accept a lift ha!
This is a nice Resort very relaxing when we went and the best apartments we have stayed at in Greece. Hope to come back.

Room Tip: All rooms have a good view.

We have just returned from another relaxing 'mother and daughter' week at Dionysos. We were given a wonderful welcome and shown to the same room as last year, as we requested.
The view was beautiful once more, and wouldn't be as impressive without the hill, which was no problem for us by the way...it just took a little longer coming back up! The pool area is spotless as is the whole resort. Our room was tidied every day and bins emptied. We made our own simple breakfast and lunch most days, and ate out in the evening. We had good meals at Dionysos, but would also recommend Retseto's or Butlers House down the hill in Lassi.
The staff at Dionysos were friendly and efficient without being intrusive, and Iffi even stopped to give us a lift up the hill when we were returning with shopping - most welcome, thank you, Iffi!
A first class hotel.....we'll be back!!!

stayed here in july 2013 with partner and teenage daughter who has now booked to go back with her friend next year already.
massive clean pool area, apartments clean and we had large double bed and daughter put up bed, never cooked or used aircon, don't understand why you go to hot countries and want to sleep in cold, love the hot nights, and it was very hot . super views. ate at resort most lunchtimes if we were there, food was excellent. the hill was fine for my daughter and I was ok at night walking up but did it once during heat of afternoon and nearly killed me but im not very fit anyway . beach was really nice although I did think sunbeds were bit close together. but only 6 euros which is cheaper than skiathos . also found eating out a lot cheaper than some other islands and was surprised how much cheaper kefalonia was. there was entertainment at night a couple times a week and this does not go on until two in the morning as reported by another guest, was usually all finished by midnight, just take some earplugs, they work wonders. would thoroughly recommend dionysos , and will also be booking to go back next year minus a daughter. also easy downhill walk from apartments into town , go see turtles in morning, taxi back only five euros.

We returned to Dionysos once again to be welcomed by our adopted Greek family at the beginning of the season in May.

As our stay coincided with the Greek Easter celebrations, we were invited, along with the other guests to join them for a feast with the owner's family. We ate al fresco, with a whole roast lamb on the spit, other meats and Greek Easter bread. Needless to say it was delicious.

The hotel was well kept and efficiently run and the staff (who we've come to think of as friends) were as warm and welcoming as ever.

The entertainment was excellent again and Maria and Dennis very generously put up my grand parents, who were staying in another hotel, so they could enjoy the Greek BBQ night with us.

A perfect holiday as always. Once you visit you will find it hard not to return.

My partner and I stayed here from 24/09/2013 to 01/10/2013, overall we think Dionysos is a good hotel and would recommend it to others.

The good...the grounds of the hotel were well kept; clean, tidy and overall made for beautiful surroundings. The view over Lassi was amazing and certainly added to a sense of relaxation being able to sit out on our veranda to watch the sun go down.

The hotel itself was very clean, including the pool area and the public bathrooms. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. The rooms are self catering, which we didn't really bother to do, preferring to eat out but the facilities available would have been enough to keep us going should we have wanted to cook for ourselves.

We didn't have much interaction with the staff but we did have was fine and they were generally friendly and attentive.

The not so good...the mattress was very thin and did not make for a comfortable nights sleep. We thought the cost of using the safe (10euro deposit plus 10euro per week) was a little steep and also 25euro to keep our room later on check out day seemed costly when the hotel was half empty due to nearing the end of season.

We only ate breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on the overall standard of food, but the breakfast was just mediocre. In hindsight we should have bought supplies at the local supermarket and took advantage of the toaster in our room.

Finally, the hill...my partner and I are reasonably fit people but it was certainly hard work coming up the hill, especially in the day time when the sun was still shining, I can't imagine what it would be like in peak summer. We also struggled to get our hired 4x4 up it on the one day it rained and had to leave it parked at the bottom.

That said, you certainly get the pay off with the stunning panoramic views and a chance to walk off you dinner! There are taxis in the town if you don't fancy it and overall it wouldn't put me off returning but may be less advisable to those who are less fit and not wanting to pay for taxi's or car hire.

Room Tip: All the rooms have sea views.
