San Lorenzo village is simply beautiful. Immaculate, pretty manicured grounds that surround all the attractive studio/apartments. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The main pool is cleaned daily and huge !. Plenty of sunbeds and space. The accommodation is the best our family has experienced in Greece. We stayed late May and both the village and resort were quiet, prefect for all ages if you want a chilled laid back atmosphere. Bar and restaurant is pleasant and although we only had breakfast once, the food and service was very good. Lassi itself has a good choice of restaurants and bars that are family friendly and reasonably priced.. The beach is beautiful with good facilities. An excellent location to visit other places on the island. Definitely recommend San Lorenzo village and look forward to returning for another idyllic holiday.

Room Tip: We stayed in a ground floor studio which sleeps 2 adults and 1 child comfortably. It had a shared te...

Cannot fault the San Lorenzo village at all it is clean well cared for and the apartments have everything you need the shower has a screen as a pose to a pull round curtain that is often the case in Greece the bathroom is a good size and the kitchen well equipped, we don't usually eat in the apartment as we only stay a week , but I would have had no issues at all doing so, we had a ground floor apartment which was fantastic to be able to sit outside with a glass of wine and look at the beautiful views that the San Lorenzo village has, it does have a steep approach and the first couple of times I walked up my calves felt the strain but it was worth it, you also have a free safe in the room, which is good and the maids came in every day whilst we were there.

This lovely holiday village cannot be faulted. Immaculately clean, comfortable, perfect location near a lovely sandy beach, shops and restaurants.

Staff are friendly and helpful and made sure this was the perfect holiday break,

Quiet, clean, comfortable: it has everything.

This was our first trip but I hope very much we will be going back!

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor studio if possible, with a patio. We had a balcony and it was lovely but next...

Came here for a one week holiday at the end of may...apartment was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the bed was comfortable. Apartment came with basic utensils for cooking if you wanted it.bathroom was nice...modern sink. ..walk in shower and a bath if required.a very nice travel cot was provided for our daughter also.
Apartment was cleaned with fresh towels every day.
Pool was lovely and clean and a poolside bar was available for drinks if required.
San lorenzo village is located in Lassi...plenty of good restaurants and bars available. Lassi is a very child friendly resort...High chairs were available for our one year old at every restaurant we went to. Beach was great. ..clean with lovely sea to swim in...sun beds were 7 euros per set...ie...2 beds and an umbrella.food and drink is very reasonably priced wherever you go...on average for a couple I would say 40-45 euros for 2 courses and a couple drinks.thoroughly recommend the San lorenzo village for a stay...just a small point to make though...It is located up a reasonably steep 150 meter hill...so if you are infirm or elderly bear this in mind.

We stayed here recently on our first family holiday. On our arrival we were very pleasently surprised to have been put in room 312 though to call this a room is a bit misleading. It was basically a four bed house! To be honest I have never stayed anywhere in Greece where the facilities have been so good; my wife joked that it was the best bathroom she's had in Greece by a long margin...

This is Greece though so I did have to put some curtains up in one room so our daughter could use it, but hardly a major issue. The room was always immaculately cleaned and the gardens and pool areas spotless and very well cared for. Breakfast was also very good.

The only negative you could claim for this place is the small hill leading up to it; not long but a little steep. This means that some may not like the walk back of an evening, but we managed fine with a pram.

The location is great too, just on the end of the main road through Lassi and a great point to start any travelling around the island.

Would definitely go back again.

Just returned from a 7 night holiday at the San Lorenzo Village,,and our first time in Kefalonia. Ok the hotel is not a 5 star resort,,but it is 5 stars for everything it offers for a holiday on a budget. You are first greeted at the bar which is also the reception area, passports are scanned and room keys given with directions. You get a welcome drink on arrival or can have it once you are settled in and go back to the bar,,We booked a one bedroomed apartment on a self catering basis,,the apartment on the second floor gave beautiful views over the bay and beyond,, the sunsets were stunning,,the apartment consisted of a small kitchen area with a table and chairs,,a microwave ,, 2 hot plates, a full size kettle,,a full dinner service including mugs,a full pan set,,and full crockery set,,,a full size fridge with small freezer area, and a cooker hood with extractor fan. As a welcome the fridge did have a bottle of water and on the table were enough tea and coffee for your first drink. The small living room could be used as a second bedroom with the sofa areas being 2 single beds if needed. There was a small television with a DVD player , and a door opening up onto the balcony,,the bathroom had a separate shower and also a bath,,,a few toiletries and lovely new white towels,,,you are advised not to put toilet paper in the toilet,,not to use towels for removing makeup and suntan lotion or may I add fake tan,,,the bathroom had really nice tiles and fittings, opposite the bathroom was loads of storage,,2. Built in wardrobes with a set of drawers in each,,a safe , and above were more storage and extra pillows and blankets. The bedroom had 2 single beds put together a dresser area and another door opening on to the balcony,,,the balcony had a table 4 chairs and sun brolly,,,the whole apartment had a red and white theme running through it,,which gave it a nice fresh look,,,the whole apartment was spotless,,I tried to find fault but I couldn't,,the domestic staff were amazing,,the apartment was cleaned everyday,,towels changes everyday,,,and bed linen was changed once during our stay. The bar has lots of seating inside and outside and lots of sun loungers all around the pool, the pool is larger than what you see on the photographs,,all around are pretty gardens and pastel coloured buildings which are the accommodations,,,everywhere was absolutely spotless,,,going around the bar area to the right on the footpath you come to the toilets,,,the toilets were spotless and had lovely fixtures and fittings,,even having separate little had towels in a wicker basket to dry hands on,, there was a pool table in this area and also a few shelves with books on that you can take,, at the far end was the kitchen,, we only had lunch once and the service and quality of the food was excellent , this was very early in the season so the bar area was never busy,,,again the seating area was of good quality and we never heard a complaint from anyone about anything,,the only comments were about how lovely the place was,,how lovely all the staff was,,how helpfull the staff were,, not one of us could find a fault and we tried !!! . The hill ! It's not a big hill and the first time you walk up it you may find it a bit hard,,after the first time it does get easier,,,obviously if you have any walking difficultys you will struggle,,The beach is only a few minutes away,,walk to the bottom of the hill, turn left and walk towards the orange flags on the other side of the road and follow the road leading down to the beach,,,,plenty of sun beds a beach bar serving food and drinks and waiter service on then beach . Toilets are also located at the far end of the beach bar. The cost of 2 loungers and a sun brolly was €6 for the day,,,a lovely beach with stunning views. If you turn right at the bottom of the hill from the San Lorenzo village you come to the lassi strip,, plenty of eating places to choose from,,we tried a different one every evening for dinner, and we were never disapointed,, good value for money and everyone wants to please,,if you don't finish your meal they ask if it was good or bad and why didn't you finish it,,,the only reason I couldn't finish was because I was too full, prices for a beer were around €3 for 2 small beers,,and these were the same at the San Lorenzo villiage,,,if you carry on walking along the lassi strip you will notice when you come to the end,,there is a top road which if you continue on brings you to argostoli,,,lots more shops and eating places and is a great evening out,,the prices are more expensive, but has a great atmosphere. A taxi back to your hotel in Lassi is around €6, we were also charged €7 but if there is 4 of you then it really is inexpensive. Most people hire a car as local transport to get around the island is virtually non existent,, you either need taxis or a trip which are easily accessible from either your tour rep,,hotel or one of the many places on the lassi strip. It is well worth having a look around the island,, it is so beautiful and many hidden places that you are missing out on not seeing. There are a few supermarkets on the lassi strip and some will deliver your shopping free to your hotel,,cigarettes that are sold in supermarkets are all the same price,,from €34 to €39 depending on which you choose,,,there was no difference in the duty free at the airport,,,if you like bacon and intend cooking breakfast,,,then only streaky bacon is in the supermarket,,we did find 1 pack of back bacon, but it was not in every shop, I forgot to take my packs of bacon that I had frozen for the trip along with a pack of sausages,, all in all we had an amazing time in kefalonia,,and could not have picked a better hotel for our stay
