Aleka's House is a wonderfull place to stay, live, eat, enjoy the hospitality and to feel the typical traditional greek way of living. All rooms have their own special ambiance with excellent furniture and fantastic views over the trees of Pelion out to the Aegean Sea with the Islands Skiathos and Skopelos. Inside the rooms you will find a warm-hearted familiar and carefull partnership between the owner-family and the guests from near and far. At morningtime or for lunch or dinner time you will become best dishes out from the kitchen which has decades of experience with the preparation of typical hellenic food. The basics comes often from the lovingly well-kept garden. Around Aleka's House the guest will find Roses, Hydrangeas and other lovely smelling flowers between the guest can have their Coffee- or Teatime. At the separately placed Cafeteria with her generously placed terrace you can start or finish your happy mooded day or night.with your own Pelion Activities. 10 minutes by car to the beautiful beach of Milopotamos, 5 minutes by feet to the oldest tree of Greece, the 1000 years old Plane tree of Agios Paraskevi at the central place from Tsagkarada. We enjoy every stay in this mysterious world of Pelion and Aleka's House is our Favorite. Thank you to all of your team so we become every time a very good Holiday-time in your Hotel, Bar, Restaurant und Café.

Beautiful place, very clean and staff was super nice. I would go again to this place.
Stayed for 3 nights.
Breakfast was nothing special. Bread was hard- we are in a Greek village, the bread could have been fresh!
There is Wifi ( in some places)
Dont eat in the hotels restaurant- not worth it.

Restaurant managed by a really very friendly and welcoming staff, serving local dishes and greek classics, ample choice in a daily changing menu, deliciously combining high quality using the most fresh ingredients and respect for the genuine greek traditional kitchen. Perfect match price-quality, clean and superb setting and, as said, courtesy and high-level hospitality of the owners and (!) their children. We went 4 times last september and are looking forward to meet again!

A beautifully designed boutique hotel perched on a hillside. It was just two blocks from the oldest tree in Greece – and the start of a wooded hike through pine trees and fern grottos. Our hosts were very welcoming. We also ate at the attached restaurant for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our food – baked feta, yigantes beans and a gift plate of fruit. The room & the central living room were decorated with art from local artists, including glasswork, paintings, and intricate woodwork. Our room was very quiet and comfortable with a very nice view of the ocean. The bathroom was had a large shower with a bench and steam generator. A generous breakfast was served in the morning just for us. This was one of the best places we stayed on our trip, and if I get the chance I will return for a longer stay!

I have to admit that I have not stayed in Aleka’s hotel but some friends did.

One day I dropped by to see them and I had the opportunity to see how the interior looks mostly out of curiosity with a thought to stay here on my coming trip to Tsagkarada.

Both the garden’s terrace where guests take their breakfast in the morning, the building itself and the interior, exceeded my expectations. I found it perfect in every way because the people behind are professionals with a history that exceeds the 55 years of service.

Tastefully decorated (stone and wood) interiors with wood furnishings and with several country-life decorative elements.

The rooms are spotlessly clean with much light and breathtaking views of the Aegean and the surround lush greenery of the mountains.

I loved the idea of the welcoming treat which is a spoon dessert (glyko koutaliou) since the area prides for its fruit produce. A nice gesture from the family!

I highly recommend it and I add it in my list of hotels to visit!

Yes, they are right the ones that comments that this facility is a bit overpriced and it is! It is offering excellent service and all the stuff (all) are so friendly and helpful even in difficult and unexpected situations...!!!

Having our 2 kids with us, it is not easy to have hot water available for their milk at 7.30 in the morning. Breakfast is very enjoyable with local marmalades etc. but it is for sure poor in variety (especially for foreign visitors) but very rich in quality. Fruits and corn flakes are missing.

The kitchen is simply fantastic! We arrived at Friday afternoon and they had available around 8-10 dishes. Whatever we tried it was delicious! I am sure that there are other good tavernas as well but not with such availability in cooked meals.

On the contrary, warm but small common saloon and near by the fireplace sittings, will be found boring for young kids if they have to stay in for long during rainy or snowing days.

Room Tip: Outside mini suites have a very nice view.

It is located near the main street of the village by which you can head towards the nicest beaches of the wider area. There is free parking as well 24/7. The hostess lady is very polite as well as the rest of the people involved. Our room was decorated traditionally, which is a good thing having in mind the Pelion tradition. Though it wasn't big enough, still made you feel comfortable. Breakfast was not a thing to remember, since it was just a cup of coffee, orange juice and a couple of other things. Have taken better. On the contrary, the restaurant is excellent. Local dishes along with some exceptional cooking makes it a hotspot for all travelers.
