Have an excellent meal on one of the most beautiful “plateias” on the Aegean side of the Pelion (Ag. Taxiarachis Tsagarada) under the shade of a big plane tree and with a fountain running nearby creating a fresh atmosphere – an ideal place to spend a hot summer noon or evening.
The Agnanti serves traditionally cooked Greek food with a contemporary touch.
We like the potato slices with garlic sauce , the yoghurt kebab with a spice rich sauce and now is the season for stuffed courgette flowers.
For the small appetite there are several home made pitas filled with cheese or spinach and you can also order an omelet surprise leaving it to the cook’s fantasy what to put in. Prices are fair and in line with the quality of the food.
If you want to have it the Spanish way you can order some days in advance an original Spanish paella. Apart from the superb food one big plus is that the tavern is also open in winter when most of the places on the Aegean side are closed.
