Stayed here while back in Ireland to cycle the Hibernia Etape on Aug. 21st. We were blessed with great weather which meant the White Strand B&B's location, with it's view out to the Atlantic was just stunning. Small B&B, just 2 rooms, one with balcony pointing out to the Atlantic - bliss. Teresa, who lives there and runs the B&B was the perfect hostess. Breakfast was when you wanted it which included 5am for us on the morning of the cycle. I'll definitely be back! It's located about 3km from the village of Dunbeg, very close (200m) to a small safe beach. Lovely walks along the coastline with some really spectacular scenery - but be careful! Very high cliffs. There's also a surfer's cove nearby (no sand and wild sea). Well worth a look at the nutters fighting the waves.
