Stayed here for 4 nights at the start of June. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the town on the main street and literally just around the corner from the beach and the main piazza. I was a bit worried that it would be noisy at night due to the location but I can't recall being disturbed at all. Rooms are basic as are most hotels in Italy but have the essentials - tv, mini-fridge, AC and a nice small balcony with a clothes line. Our balcony had a partial view of the sea and partial view of the main street so it was perfect for watching the sunset or just watching the world go by. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels left. The man and woman who run the hotel are both very pleasant and helpful and can speak some English. They also run the adjoined cafe/restaurant, Caffe del Corso, which we ate in and found extremely reasonable and where I had what was very probably the best pizza I've ever had in my life, plus it only cost €5! Would highly recommend checking out the restaurant even if you don't stay in the hotel. The only issues I have are 1) that the room cost €95 per night which I thought was a bit steep considering it was off season and that the rooms are quite basic but the location is so perfect I guess that's what you pay for, and 2) the shower was tiny, so small you could barely turn around it in. If you're veering on the heavy side you mightn't actually be able to fit in it, seriously!
