Heavens! Being so juvenile as to say 'Don't Go' when you've not even been in seems rather mean!
El Gringo is essentially a bar where, often the locals of St Agata go. It isn't a fancy bar, but we'd already made friends with one or 2 locals, and got a great response when we walked by, and got 'dragged' in. A noisy but fun night...and the night after a cake battle was going on to celebrate the end of the 'colour' run.
More importantly we met some UK people who'd been living in Italy for 15 years, and learnt more about the area and where/how to go in 15 minutes, than in the 5 days previously. A simple beer bar is all. Good atmosphere etc.
