“Everything you might hope for in a small Italian hotel ... and then some!”
Reviewed 17 April 2010

We stayed with Tiziana for four nights and found the accommodation very convenient with the added bonus of free car parking. Tiziana and her mother were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We encountered car problems on our second day and Tiziana helped us resolve the situation. The orange room which we had was spotlessly clean and very quiet with a view looking in the direction of Capri. Tiziana organised a wonderful trip for us to Capri on the most perfect day. She also recommended two fantastic restaurants. All in all we would certainly recommend this small hotel which suited us as it was between the two gulfs and easier to get around compared with some of the better known resorts within the Amalfi coast.

The villa is in perfect condition and it is obvious that the owners invest in regular maintenance. Our room was lovely, done up in turquoise with everything clean and fresh and with a view of Capri. We enjoyed breakfast under the kiwi's. Tiziana is very helpful. We recommend this residence/inn without hesitation. It is extremely good value in this highly touristic and often over-priced part of Italy.

We spend almost a week at Villa Titina. Our room was large and comfortable with a balcony with view onto the island of Capri. Bathroom is nicely decorated but small. Save parking in the courty-yard. Breakfast is italian style and we very much liked to sit outside unter the kiwi trees. Owners are very helpful with suggestions on day trips. Sant'Agata is on top of the hill coming from Sorrento on a winding road, and overlooking both coasts of the peninsula. Good starting point for day trips. Would definitely recomed to have own car or rent one. In our opinion exellent price vs. value ratio.

My wife, our one year old daughter and I spent 6 very comfortable days at Villa Titina in May 2009.

The accommodation itself was a very clean, tastefully furnished and spacious appartment on the 3rd floor. All rooms are equipped with big balconies offering a spectacular view on the closeby sea and the island of Capri. For guests a private, closed car park is located at the back of the premises, a very welcome luxury as the small streets of St. Agatha don't offer too much space for parking.

The owners are very friendly and helpful and do their utmost best to make you feel at home. As a result of that, their customer service is second to none and can only be rated as 'excellent'.

If you're looking for a located, clean and comfortable bed & breakfast, Residenza Villa Titina is the place to be!

My wife and I spent 5 lovely days at Villa Titina in September 08. It is situated in a village that is quiet enough to wind down from the busy tourist towns while having enough shops and good restaurants to keep it lively enough. Even on Sunday the locals were busy shopping and chatting . The accommodation was very spacious, very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was excellent. The flat also had a small kitchinette if you want to have a snack or make coffee etc.
There is a private closed car park at the back and on warm days breakfast was served outside. The flat had two balconies so that you can catch the sun in the morning or afternoon and read in quiet at the back or watch the locals in the front going about their business.

The village of S'Agata Sui Due Golfi is perched at the top of a hill which gave a lovely view of the surrounding countryside including a view of Capri. The downside is that you have to drive along the infamous winding Italian roads to get to the hotel - but you need to do that anyway to visit the sites.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel very much at home. I would recommend Villa Titina as a homely, well furnished comfortable haven, with beautiful scenery and a central location on the peninsula away from the crowds.

  • Liked — Spacious, clean and high quality interior.

We have just returned from a 6 nights at the Residenza Villa Titina, where we experienced true Italian hospitality. It did not feel like a hotel ... it was like home. Tiziana truely knows the meaning of excellent customer service. There is nothing that she will not be willing to arrange for you. When we arrived we were greeted as friends by Tiziana and her Mama, even though we had never met before. The next day we were brought breakfast to our room as it was too wet to eat outside in the garden. Tiziana provided us with bus timetables, ideas of what to do during our stay and recommendations to various restaurants. We had the most beautiful room 102, which overlooked gardens with fruit trees and the wonderful island of Capri. It was spacious with a large double bed, plenty of storage and comfortable furnishings. The bathroom was also large with all new fittings. The town of Santa Agata is well located to get around the Amalfi Coast, with a nice little beach a short bus ride away. Plenty of restuarants and local shops. The local people are extremely friendly. We were sad to leave, but were moving on to Amalfi. We will recommend Villa Titina to all our friends and will definitely return. Grazie Mille, Greg and Diane Wood, Leicester
