Went with Newmarket Holidays, hotel very friendly, rooms very clean. Clean towels every day and rooms cleaned every day. Meals very good would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Sant' Agata sui Due Golfi

A very relaxed and friendly hotel. Room was clean and we had a superb view overlooking the pool and garden. Realistically priced drinks. We really appreciated the owner getting up to wave us off at 5.50 a.m. The hotel was in a quiet street, with a supermarket on the corner. It was a 4 minute walk into the centre of Sant Agar sui Due Golfi.

We had a week's stay at Villa Fernanda. We chose this hotel because we wanted a relaxed, informal atmosphere. And that is what we got. Although perhaps in need of some updating, our room was clean and looked out over the pleasant gardens and swimming pool, and across this attractive small town. The bed was comfortable, towels changed every day, clean sheets mid week. Breakfast was traditionally family Italian, as were the evening meals chosen at breakfast time. The hotel catered for vegetarians as well as carnivores. The meals were not haute cuisine, but represented real value for money and used fresh ingredients. A party of German tourists arrived and the food quality improved! The staff were very friendly, and efficient. We had the freedom to come and go as we pleased. The terrace and poolside were both very relaxing areas. Walking or bussing into Sorrento was easy, whilst Sant'Agata itself offers variety, intriguing walks and alleys to explore and the views from the Monastery tower are not to be missed. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back, with balcony, overlooking the gardens.

We booked this hotel through Newmarket holidays and arrived 4 HOURS LATE courtesy of Small planet Airlines..the worst arline in the world !!, we stayed in room 104 and had a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the food was adequate and the staff were very pleasant and helpful, we could have stayed at a more expensive hotel but this suited are needs, the swimming pool and area were cleaned thoroughly every morning.

Room Tip: avoid room 104 it is next to the lift.

We have just spent a week at the Villa Fernanda (via Newmarket Holidays) and could hardly fault it. We did not arrive until turned midnight (delayed by a budget airline Small Planet 'Yuk') but were welcomed by the family run team with a much needed meal and drinks. We had a spotlessly clean room on the ground floor (104) with a secluded and nicely shaded balcony, which was very welcoming following a good sunbathe around a nice sun trapped pool surrounded by lemon trees and colourful plants. It was also quite romantic for the daily evening nightcap, considering we are beyond the age of working ! Only a 10 minute walk into the quaint little town, bustling but not noisy - Bar Orlando a must visit. We met some smashing people at the hotel which all goes to making a good holiday. Should we re visit this area of Italy we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. The only let down would have been the food choice and quality, but not a big enough problem to downgrade the hotel!

Room Tip: Request a room at the rear as the front faces a busy road and the Italians love to blow their horns!

A family run hotel with a warm welcome. We arrived late and were welcomed with an unexpected hot meal and it was evident from the start that all guests were very welcome. Breakfast was a traditional Italian one with cold meats, cheeses, bread, fruit etc. The evening meal was chosen at breakfast and whilst there was only a choice of two on each course it all arrived hot and tasty. It was how Italians eat so whilst good don't expect gourmet style.
The room was clean, comfortable and had all facilities and having a balcony was a real bonus.
The garden with swimming pool was a delight and a suntrap with direct sun most of the day. sitting under the lemon trees was aperfect end to the day.
It's about a 10 minute stroll from a delightful village with all the shops and bars etc. If you are after limoncella etc try the fruit and veg shop on the corner of the ,ain street. you can taste first.
There is a good bus service into sorrento taking about 30 minutes depending on which route you take. All in all an excellent few days and we would certainly return

Room Tip: Top floor with a balcony
