“Very Good Pizza at very nice Location”
Reviewed 12 September 2012 via mobile

Our Kids were Really forcing us to visit a Pizza-Restaurant during our Holiday in Italy. We were searching through tripadvisor in order to find the best Pizza in town and have not been disappointed. 2 adults and 2 Kids were served with great pizza from the friendly staff - Which might not be at all a standard in a touristic location at the habourside. The pizza is fresh made with fresh ingredients and was bigger than the plate it was served on. Price wise we left with 55€ with soft drinks and four pizza and some happy kids which got finally their pizza and liked it very much.

The place is very crowded and the tables are too close to each other, in a way that you keep hitting the neighbors. The pizzas are OK, but we've ate better (the crust wasn't as crunchy as other great pizzerias have). The variety of pizzas is amazing. you can eat there for two weeks and pick a different dish every day.
A word of caution - don't use the take away option. cold pizza isn't fun.

“The best pizza we had in Italy!”
Reviewed 1 August 2012

During our 3 days in Salo, we had lunch at the Pizzeria every day!

Our hotel (Hotel Vigna) recommended this as the best pizzeria in town, and so true. By far the best pizza we ate during our 2 weeks in Italy (and I've lived in Italy for a year and still think it's among the best I've had).

The service isn't the friendliest, but the pizza is just so so worth it! The ingredients are locally sourced and organic. Also, the insalada caprese with buffalo mozzarella was the best caprese we had.

Cute location by the promenade - got the impression that quite a few of the restaurants along the promenade were over priced and very touristy (we saw one place where Wiener schnitzel was the first meat dish on the menu) - but this was definitely a good place. Reasonably priced, excellent value for money!

“Good value pizza, with friendly service”
Reviewed 21 July 2012

good quality pizzas and salads - really delicious - we ate here twice. a bit cheaper than some other places in Salo - probably because it is not right in the centre but up at one end of the promenade. Waiters spoke English and gave good customer service

We ate here 2 out of the 3 nights we spent in Salo. The pizza here was fantastic, lovely thin bases with fresh toppings.. You can eat a full pizza and not feel heavy, but a nice full!
Prices were quite cheap as well, and wait staff could speak English.
