We have just returned from a week's stay at La Bisaccia and it was fantastic. I was a bit concerned at first as there were a couple of reviews which gave it a bit of a slating but all I can say is that they must be quite fussy. The Hotel and surroundings are very well kept and exceptionally clean. We were on a half board basis - the food is delicious and there is always something to suit everyone. We went to the private beach most days as we found it quite entertaining. There are number of beach sellers, with their wares ranging from fresh coconut and pineapple to sparkly beach wraps, towels and floor mats.
We are lucky to have been to different parts of Italy but I have to say Sardinia is now our favourite. Take note though - you will need to know some Italian as very little English is spoken although it doesn't take much to make yourself understood. We found this quite refreshing. You don't need to take heavy beach towels as they are available at the pool and on the beach. The towels in the rooms are beautiful thick, white and fluffy. We found the staff to be very efficient and helpful. Would definitely go again!More
