This family run hotel is at the very top of Passo Tonale so it is all downhill from here. There is a 100 metre walk across a busy thru rd to the piste where any lift will allow you to traverse west or east. Both traverses are complicated by deep gullys which cannot be crossed ,however a combination of lifts does the trick.
The hotel is old but warm and comfortable, there are many advisory notices which are a tad uncomfortable yet they are all correct given that this hotel is popular with school groups. The electrical wiring needs a refurb so you may not use domestic appliences in your room although the hotel supplied hairdryier was adequate.
We were there over New year and the chef did us proud, head waiter Max was a delight and we would certainly stay there again
