Beautiful home in the Tuscan hills. The house is well looked after and really well equipped. The village is beautiful with friendly neighbours. There are lots of activities close by: mountain biking (skiing in winter), road cycling, canyoning, lots and lots of hikes for various abilities. The village has a well-known and popular restaurant. The food is excellent so a must, but make sure to book as it’s often busy. John B is an extremely helpful host and provides lots of information about the region and things to do. Lucca is a must! Highly recommend this property and will definitely visit again.
Very happy with our stay in Casa Zola, great location, stunning views, beautifully decorated, supplied with everything you could want.
Lovely Tuscan hill village, nice people, great restaurant within walking distance. Added advantage of having Luisa, the manager, right there to assist with questions and advice, nice lady too!
More than happy to recommend this villa
Simply excellent. You will find in Casa Zola your private home in another home. We will return in this wonderful place during the summer to enjoy with the beautiful pool!
We had a wonderful time at Casa Zola - great house with amazing views. Ideal location to catch up with your reading list, have quality time with friends and family and to cool down in the pool when it gets too hot! There is an amazing restaurant (with very reasonable prices) a stone throw away from the house and all amenities are available in Bagni di Lucca, about 20 mins from house. John & Cath were very informative beforehand and Luisa was a great contact. Superb!
A truly beautiful villa located in a quiet, rustic and authentic Italian village nestled in the hills with stunning views of the unspoilt Tuscan countryside. Easy to reach from London with regular flights into Pizza and then approximately 1 1/2 hour car ride from the airport along winding mountain roads.
Vico has really welcoming locals, a fantastic and vibrant local restaurant in the Duca Di Baldabo and is within a short distance of the medieval walled city of Lucca and not too far from Florence if you require a bit more cultural stimulation
Personally I enjoyed the relative calm of Vico and did not have to venture too far. This was one of my most relaxing holidays in recent years and it will become a regular trip for me and the family.
