I came back from Australia three week ago to stay some day at home in Italy and I went to Osteria Nero di Seppia with two close friends. I've already been there one year ago, but I have to say, despite the service was great the first time, now it's also improved.
Luigi is a professionist in his job and it's easy to notice that. Menu' is really various and the wine chart seems to be studied for experts.
The quality of the food is of first choise and whilst the price cannot defined low, you can be sure to eat a seafood live ever in your life. Actually, to find good seafood is not hard. What makes this place a "must-visit" is Silvana. She and Luigi are core. Silvana is able to transform a great raw seafood in a first choise dish.
Especially if you are from outside Italy, you should consider Osteria Nero di Seppia. Ofter tourist came in Italy to discover the famous "Italian cuisine" but at the same time they're atracted from cheap restaurant. Trust me, the real italian taste cannot be sold for few money. It's just impossible. You can try to eat Italian with 25$ per person but actually with this budget you can eat in Italy what you can eat all around the world: imported low cost food. What you can find here are two typical italian resource: Italian first choice raw seafood and a 25 years experienced chef.
