We stayed here from October 30 - November 4, 2012. We chose this as our home base for exploring Tuscany based on a friend's recommendation and the many great reviews on TA. The four of us (including my husband and his parents) stayed in a really really charming 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor, and I don't think I've ever loved a vacation rental more than this one. Unfortunately, we weren't able to join the Saturday or Wednesday meals (we weren't on site when those meals happened), and we wished we'd been able to do that. Otherwise, the hotel, the grounds, the rooms, the amenities, the quiet beautiful location, the nearby town and restaurants -- everything was fantastic. Thank you, Gabriel and family!

We rented a two bedroom villa at LeTorri and it was everything we hoped for and more! The villa was absolutely wonderful and it was only surpassed by Gabrielle, our host. He did everything in his power to make our visit the best it could be and went above and beyond to make sure that all of his guests were well cared for! The dinner that he and his family hosted the first night we were there is indescribable and was a wonderful way for us to meet the other guests.

We would not hesitate to recommend LeTorri to anyone and look forward to returning. It is an ideal location to visit other areas of Tuscany and, after long days of siteseeing, it was a wonderful place to return to. The villas and the grounds are immaculate and having Gabrielle to help us with any of our needs made us wish we could have spent more than a week there! Go! You won't be sorry!

Room Tip: The 2nd floor villas had incredible views!

5 of us stayed here for a week before cruising out of Rome....friends had recommend it to us...and it was just as wonderful as they had said.

Gabriel was so helpful, the villa was beautiful, and the food....well you will just have to go and try for your self! You will not be disappointed!

We had a driver, and did day trips, and saw the most beautiful parts of Italy...

A heart felt thanks to Gabriel and his family!

Room Tip: All the rooms were appointed beautifully!

This was a repeat visit for us to Villa Le Torri and an introduction for the couple we were travelling with. We rented a two bedroom two bath apartment from Gabriel and his family. The first thing you notice is what a great host Gabriel is. He showed us to our rooms and helped us decide on things to do. The views from the apartment windows remind me of paintings of the Italian countryside. So much green (we are from Arizona). From the windows all you can see are groves of olive trees and grapevines. The first evening the family prepares an excellent tasting of local foods and serves wine from a local winery. The apartment is very nice but it took us a while to figure out how to work the television.

Room Tip: Our rooms were on the top floor facing north.

Everything you have read about this wonderful Villa is true! Gabriel and his family work long hours to make sure that everything is perfect and their efforts are obviously paying off!! One thing that has not been mentioned in reviews, and something that I would have found useful, has to do with the size of the beds. In their literature, Le Torri talks about the double bed in the master suite. That had me worried because my husband is a BIG guy and a double bed would have been pretty crowded. Fortunately, the beds are not actually what we North Americans would call double - they are at least Queen size and maybe even a bit bigger than that (I didn't have my tape measure with me!). So if size of bed has you worried, you don't need to be. A big comfortable bed awaits you after a day of scouting out the nearby tuscan hill towns.

Room Tip: All the rooms have special features. Those on the second floor have wonderful views and those on the...

I don't know where to start! Everything was just as I expected and beyond! We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, since there were 4 adults. The apartments were spacious and authentic stone with shuttered windows that could be opened to the beautiful viistas surrounding the villa. They were fully equipped with everything you'd need, and as a very thoughtful touch, you can e-mail ahead and order basic groceries so you have some provisions when you arrive. The grounds on the estate were lush and well manicured with a stone walkway leading to a beautiful clean pool.Comfortable chaise longers and chairs surrounded the pool area and were a great spot to meet other vacationers at the end of a busy day of touring the countryside. What made Le Torri so unique for us was the welcome buffet cooked by Gabriel and his family. The food and Chianti are plentiful and it is an informal but intimate affair . The weather was warm and dry so we sat at long, candle lit tables, groaning with food. Eating , drinking and getting to know the other guests. That, in my opinion is what makes visiting Le Torri so unique.Gabriel and his family manage to make you feel as if you are, for a short time, part of their family. We cannot wait until we return.
