My wife and I stayed nine days at this delightful little stone cottage in the Tuscany countryside. The location is ideal for visiting the hill towns of Tuscany, near the little town of Petroio, and down a country road where it is nestled in the olive trees with scenic views. The host, Angelo, was extremely solicitous of our comfort and most helpful with advice on touring the area. He is a delightful man and we became good friends. The house is well furnished, with kitchenette and full bath, an outdoor swimming pool, and internet access. The rate is very reasonable. On our two month tour of Europe, this was our favorite place to stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone. Contact: angelo.capponi@email.it.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The first time I fell in love with this place was several years ago while watching the movie, "The English Patient." I loved these forests, cypress trees and valleys. I was impressed in particular by the Abbey where the movie was filmed, at Sant'Anna in Camprena. And now this movie is repeated for me every night, and every night is always more beautiful. I would like to share these feelings with you. ... more   less
