In this park plenty of people smoke and there is no ban in most areas. For example, in the kids area people smoke an d through their buds on the floor where kids in bathing suits are running around. I also spoke to a member of staff who threw her cigarette on the floor bang in the middle of the kids area. I told her how she feels about smoking and throwing the bud in the kids area. She responded by saying that there is no smoking prohibition here.
When I raised the concern with a member of staff, I was told that she agrees that it is appalling but her manager would fire her if she said anything.
I would have a difficult time goon back there again with my two year old because of plenty of inconsiderate people (we all know it's Italy) but more shockingly the failure of the park to protect children from harm.
On the way out I asked to speak to a manager but they refused to contact one. They also said that everyone is free to smoke outdoors if they want to.
So Dear Gardaland Director,
You probably feel too superior to lower yourself and speak to park guests about these issues. Let me tell you that your staff fear repurcussions if they speak up that just goes to show the type of person you are.
You should be ashamed of the park's smoking policy.
Isn't it time you resigned?
