The place is beautiful , the style a bit fake country-kitsch like many places of this time . Decoration goes beyond function.....the prices are certainly made in the slipstream of the nearby Gardaland, therefore to a bargain. What was sold as the family-suite used to be the stall , which could add character if not like here furnished like a rental place in the Milano outskirts. The place had a mouldy smell , it was clearly not used for a while nor thought somebody before to air it a bit. Maybe because directly under one the windows we found a ventilation for some gas-pipe , so better leaving the window closed. Lucretia did the best her young age allowed, the rest of the service it's a bit laid back.....
The pool contains fortunately not a lot of water, otherwise it might be simply something for Scandinavians.

We stayed in this agriculturists for more than five times in last few years and we always come back. It is walking distance from Gardaland and good starting point for visiting Garda Lake and Verona is 20km away. The place is quiet. The pool is very nice and clean. It is very nice for children. I have a critic on rooms which are quite small and breakfast that could be better, especially coffee and range of bread.

Great Agiturismo near the Garda lake.
peaceful environment, nice pool with sun beds, good breakfast.
Francesca is always around to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
She servers very nice wines from there own property.
Its also possible to hire bikes, for a visit to one of the nice villages on the lake Garda.
Verona, Veneto, Milano al these citties are nearby and worth a visit.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, with airco.
Had a very pleasant time at Le Fornase, wil go back!
Ciao Francesca and Mafi ;-)

This “agriturismo” is close to the entrance of Gardaland, but it is still a very quiet place. You’re not far away from the lake and several beautiful sites on Lake Garda. Peschiera is just 2 km’s away. Nice swimming pool too. The restaurant: ”La Pampa” is known for is meat dishes and pizza’s at affordable prices. ( however –avoid the pasta’s – quite unusual for Italy, but it is true)
As this is a wine estate, its local wines are worth trying. The rooms are maybe a little small, but I could live with it. A negative point: The owners are not always available in case of questions or problems. I have the impression that this rather big estate ( 19 rooms) is balancing between the restricted service of an agriturismo and the better service of an hotel. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend is.

Agriturismo Le Fornase is absolutely a lovely hotel!! You are welcomed by the owner, Marco Frezza, a charming Italian showing you the room and giving you a welcome drink (wine from his own vineyards)! Rooms are authentic, charming and big, and every day well cleaned. The hotel has a nice swimming pool with enough seats, a nice garden and is located in a quiet area. It's a small hotel (20 rooms) which ensures a relax stay! You are not in the middle of the crowdy places at the Garda lake, but just 5 minutes car driving away from Lazise, and 15 minutes from Bardolino, the place to be at the Garda lake!
Breakfast buffet is very good (croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, bacon,...); personnel is very friendly. There is a restaurant just next to the hotel (La Pampa), where you can have dinner (10% discount if you stay at the hotel). Also the restaurant is highly recommended!! Excellent food in a typical surrounding. But if you want to have dinner elsewhere, ask Marco and he'll give you a lot of nice addresses at the lake and in some inland villages!
This hotel is really a must: high quality at a low price!
