Attended on 31/07/14. Be aware if you're English DO NOT visit this bar... We went for tapas and a drink; the menu clearly states that if you purchase an alcoholic beverage then tapas is free (if not then you pay €1.50) ALL of the Spanish customers were receiving this... The gentleman who served us asked if we would like food? We replied with "yes please we would like tapas"; we were looking at the tapas menu and made some suggestions to which the gentleman "explained" "we have a lovely meat selection of tapas" so we agreed. After a few moments he returned and said "I ordered 2 as 1 will be gone in a few minutes as is so delicious". We waited about 30 minutes, watching all of the lovely looking tapas being distributed to the other tables, and was then presented with two plates of over cooked, very dry and not nice tasting meat. This was not what we were expecting as was not tapas at all... On asking for the bill we did not receive any free tapas but were charged €18 per plate... So for a drink each (6 people) and 2 plates of meat (1 of which we didn't even order) it cost €66 ... On speaking to other bar owners in the area, this is something they have done to many English people before.
The resort as a whole
Is amazing and this has not ever happened before. Just a warning to people from Britain.
I do not normally write reviews but so disappointed this happened to our family and obviously has happened to others.
