I would give this restaurant (actually a pizzeria but the local dishes are superb) ten out of ten for location, superb free tapas (with drinks), excellent quality and variety of food, efficient friendly service and excellent value for money!
My sister and I found La Cita quite by chance, and were so delighted with the tapas we received with our glass of wine (€4 for two glasses of vino tinto, plus two plates of the best jamon, plus a plate of crisps with garlic mayo) that we went back there to eat the following two nights. We had the menu del dia the second night which was, without a doubt, the best I have tasted, and I have lived in Spain for seven years! The third night we opted for a couple of their tapas dishes, which, again, were excellent! The Rioja was superb also. And to top it all, as the light was fading, a pod of six or eight dolphins swam past parallel to the beach - not, I understood from our waiter, a common site but it made our night completely perfect!

We were recommended this restaurant by staff at the Aurora bar next door as we were looking for a decent meal. We chose the menu del dia at 10 Euros each comprising of starters, mains, pudding, drink, bread and allioli. Really good range of dishes to choose from. We chose gazpacho and jamon tostado for starters, grilled hake and grilled chicken for mains with accompanying vegetables. Food was good and hot and the waitresses were very friendly and efficient.

Visited this place about 6 times now and its consistent from the food to the service good thing is if the pizza is too much you can always take it home. The appetizer was prawn wrapped in filo pastry was absolutely succulent and delicious you are not charged for the bread, I love the Gazpacho soup and had a pizza and delicious lasagne, chicken breast. This is a very popular place come 9.30pm they start quening on the promanade for tables so go early. Its a nice touch when you pay your bill there is a shot of lemon sorbet lovely and refreshing.

We noticed this restaurant whilst out walking in the evening and decided to check it out. When we walked in we were greeted by very friendly staff, shown to a table and drink orders were taken straight away. The menu had good choices. The meals were well presented and delicious. We were very impressed with the food. So impressed that I would say that the food was amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to pay a visit to and enjoy their fabulous food.

This place is in a fab area right on the beach so you have good views and wonderful wave sounds. We stopped here at random on a quiet weekday evening. The service was excellent, the cleanliness great and food faultless. There were 3 of us each having different meals, but between us we tried the plancha cooked grouper, the mixed meats and pizza, all of which was excellent. If in this area again we wouldn't hesitate to visit here.
