We loved this little hotel and restaurant! It's tucked away down away from the road and is totally delightful. We arrived during a heat wave and the our room was really warm but Natasha gave us a fan for the room which helped a lot. All of the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the surroundings were very pleasant. We also enjoyed using the lovely little swimming pool which was most welcome at the end of a hot day exploring the beautiful Ribeira Sacra, the canyons of the River Sill and the valley of the River Mino. Natasha and Antony, the owners, were so nice and really made us feel at home. We would highly recommend a stay at O Remanso dos Patos and a meal in the restaurant is a must!

Room Tip: Some rooms have a balcony & river - ours didn't but next time I would be very tempted to do so. Sleep quality would have been excellent had it not been so hot

We recommend this beautifully located B&B, so tasteful, our room was very, very comfortable, and had the most beautiful view from the balcony. Tony, the owner and chef, prepared some good meals and was very helpful with info about the area, Natacha was welcoming too! We visited a very good "Adega" (winery) in the area, the surroundings are worth a visit if you love nature, quiet, and good food and wine. Recommended!

Room Tip: Definitely ask for a room with a balcony to enjoy the view of the river Sil...

This hotel bed and breakfast is located in the beautiful and seemingly undiscovered Riebera Sacra region. From our room we had a view of the river and valley. One had a feeling of living in a tree house with all the comforts of a spa tub, comfortable bed and all the trimmings in our spacious room. The owners take care of the guests like their own family; the husband is a French chef and they had wonderful fois gras dishes on the menu. From the hotel we took a short drive to a hike that ended in a waterfall, then a trip into the center of old town Ourense. I don't know why more people haven't flocked to this part of Spain. If you want a quiet region of Spain not flooded by tourists, this is the place to go.

Room Tip: Get a room with the view and the spa tub! Not to confuse, your gym is a hike in nature.

A nice small (2 floor) hotel, very helpful, nice and smiling stuff, a very warm environment in the whole hotel: cute decorations, relaxing (not loud) nature music at the reception and just such a cottage house style - everything was just perfect, we had an excellent stay there.
It wasn´t probably the cheapest variant in the area, but it totally was worth it!
Breakfast of home-made bread, home-made jam and home-made yogurt - everything delicious, and everything was served in the room (no need to go down to the restaurant).
The room was also very cute, warm (with the floor heating in the bathroom), nice bathroom amenities. Everything was pretty silent (though there were a lot of families with kids living around us), the only small negative point was about a LOT of light from the lamps in the room and though having everything switched off at night you could still see the room (it was disturbing a bit).

We visited during the winter. Still it was quite nice – there was the feeling of stepping in to a friend’s house. The hotel is very well renovated and nattily decorated. It is a shame that the surrounding buildings are not so well kept.
Our hosts, Natacha and Antony, were really friendly and attentive. Please try the restaurant. Very good and unpretentious food.
If you are looking for accommodation in the area this is a very good option.

Room Tip: Junior suite – for a bit more you get a really nice room with great views.
