We stayed here for two nights as part of our trip round Galicia. The hotel is well-situated and we decided to walk from the train station, which took us about 20/25 minutes wheeling luggage. We could have caught a bus, but it seemed easier to walk to get out bearings.
There was a very warm welcome when we arrived and although we arrived very early, we were able to check in to our room. The room itself was very big, with a huge bathroom, big bed and a small balcony facing on to the street. There was no noise problems, as it seemed a quiet street and there was good double glazing.
The hotel has a good little cafe, which we did use in the evening for a drink. There is a good selection of wines, and the barman was very friendly, as were all the other staff we met. The wifi worked fine for us, but we did have problems with being logged out after a brief period of inactivity.
There are plenty of restaurants and tapas bars nearby and there's a Froiz supermarket nearby in Avenida de Habana. It's a easy walk into the old town and everything is close by.
This is a good hotel and part of a very good chain (we stayed in their hotel in Santiago de Compostela too). We were very glad that we'd chosen to stay here.
