“Perfect”
Reviewed 13 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The owners of this cottage really go the extra mile to make this a home from home. We were very grateful for the lovely welcome pack. Our one year old was well catered for with high chair, travel cot and listener.

“Charming cottage in an idyllic Norfolk village, perfect for families.”
Reviewed 31 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The cottage is beautiful and fully equipped with everything a family needs and more.

It is in a lovely quiet location with easy access in and out of the village and close to some shops, village pubs and restaurants. The pretty duck pond is also a short walk away and is just opposite a park.

We will definitely be returning to Heacham and Pollywiggle Cottage.

“Fantastic cottage with all the amenities for young children”
Reviewed 28 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Absolutely fantastic cottage, in a perfect location.
The cottage was very clean and tidy, with very comfortable seating creating a home from home environment.
There was a welcome food and drink pack and the use of basic store cupboard ingredients, meaning that it was easier to self cater for own meals.
In addition the owners have given a lot of thought for small children where they are well catered for everything that you would need for a young child, monitors, high chairs and a pushchair.

There were local shops near by, and the beach within easy walking distance.

“Lovely cottage”
Reviewed 25 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

A lovely victorian cottage with modern appliances in a very quiet location & off road parking. The BBQ & bicycle was an added bonus. There was plenty of grocery & toiletries on an honesty basis also the welcoming pack was very well appreciated especially the wine. One word of warning if you are over 5' 10" mind your head on the doorways! Overall a very pleasing holiday

“Lovely Norfolk getaway”
Reviewed 14 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We had such a lovely weekend in Heacham. The cottage itself was quaint and charming with all the facilities we needed for ourselves and our 7 month old son (pushchair (which we didn't use but there is one), black out blind, cot, hi chair and toys). The wifi was a bonus although it would be nice to truly get away from the techno world. It was just like home from home. There is enough parking for 2 cars which was great considering the other cottages on the street.

There is a Tesco Express minutes away, a pub just round the corner (and others within walking distance), takeaways too and the beach only a 15-20 minute walk away. You can walk to Hunstanton along the sea front but be prepared for the walk back!!

We look forward to exploring the area some more when we return in June.

“Perfect cottage for exploring North Norfolk”
Reviewed 3 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

What a lovely cottage! We arrived to a welcome pack for not just us but our dog too, which he loved.

This cottage is as good as the pictures indicate - well decorated to give a light and airy feel and thoughtfully equipped with anything you might need including a large cooker, WiFi, two hair dryers, really comfy beds (my partner slept in and he's normally up and about by 6!), TV & DVD player in lounge with lots of DVDS to watch and BBQ. There are 3 good pubs you can reach in 5 minutes. There is a Tesco local and Co-OP shops within 5 minutes too, as well as a great fish and chip shop, Chinese and Indian. We didn't try the Indian but the Chinese and Fish and Chips are highly recommended.

As the nights were a bit chilly it was great to get in front of the fire and warm up after walking from the beach.

The owners operate an 'honesty box' system for store cupboard foods so there isn't any need to fill the car with food - there's pasta, rice, herbs, oils, salt, pepper, cereals, baked beans, tin tomatoes, sauces and more - basically if you use the last of something you replace it before you leave. If you forget toiletries there's a handy basket filled with toothbrushes, tooth paste, soaps, shower gel etc again on a n honesty box system - replace what you use.

You can get to the sea in 15 minutes and onto the promenade to walk to Hunstanton (45mins) one way or Heacham Dam the other (30mins). There is parking to the rear of the cottage for two cars which I am sure in the height of summer will be invaluable. There's no need for a car as bus stops are only a 30 second walk away - which allow you easy access to all the towns and villages on the North Norfolk coast.
