“Enjoyable stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

We spent one night here in a room in the block across the car park. We had a nicely decorated room with a huge bed and it had both a shower and bath in our en-suite. A nice touch in the room on arrival was some home cooked cookies and fresh milk in a flask which is much better than the carton type of milk. The carpet was a little out dated but every thing was very clean and tidy. We were there on a groupon voucher and there was some mix up over the cost of our evening meal but this was sorted out without any problem. The hotel was very busy with guests for a wedding the next day. The food was very good.

Booked a deal through Groupon to stay at Heacham Manor over the half term spring break, for a family of four. Stayed in cottage "Saphfire" no 7 ground floor... good size bedroom with lovely en-suite bathroom, children had the sofa bed which they loved. Nice clean compact kitchen with everything you need, they had even left us milk, cookies, tea, coffee, bottles of water etc.... We paid for B & B and had breakfast in the conservatory the two mornings we stayed and the breakfasts were just perfect and really good selection of food. The hotel and cottages have lovely surroundings, a little pond with ducks, trees, nice seating area outside too. We also had drinks in the bar on the first night, which were reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and approachable. We went to Holkham Manor one day, we only used the big Adventure play area... which kept the kids entertained for ages... only cost £2.00 to park, you can pay into the main house, museum etc.. but think its £30.00 for a family ticket... then its approx. 12 minute walk from there to a nice beach... was something different to do for the day. We ate at Seagulls restaurant on the first night, along sea front at Hunstanton, lovely home cooked food, would definitely go back there and the 2nd night we ate at Rockafells diner & bar... again lovely meal.. and if you time it right like we did early evening you can watch the sun go down from the restaurant. Just be careful of the main car park facing Oasis Leisure centre, we were 20 mins late back to our car, on a quiet Sunday evening... and were given a £25.00 ticket.... our own fault really, but just something to watch for... We also used the Oasis Leisure Centre for the first time..... great water slide for kids and nice jaquizzi for the adults.... all in all fantastic family holiday away. Wendy on reception told me they may run another groupon offer after the summer.... we will be booking again if they do.. one to watch out for... all in all great family weekend away. I always click through "top cash back site" then into groupon before I pay for any hotel deals and make sure I get cashback first... just another way of saving some pennies before you go... and at the time of book the above deal... Groupon themselves had an extra £10.00 off voucher they had e-mailed to me, which they sometimes do occasionally.....hope this review helps :)

Room Tip: we had a downstairs cottage, which was perfect but with small children I didn't feel safe leavin...

This was the perfect stay with my partner and friends.
Leisurely game of golf, well kept golf course, staff at the golf club very cheery
Dinner - could not fault at all, really good food and good portion size, staff were brilliant
Rooms - decor a little dated, but so clean and everything you need with a really lovely bathroom (although could have replaced the body lotion with shower gel instead)
Breakfast - was excellent and staff were on the ball
All in all I would highly recommend Heacham Manor, thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome. We look forward to our next stay!!

We stayed at Heacham Manor because we were going to a show at The Corn Exchange in KingsLynn and had a Groupon voucher. This was an excellent smart place to stay with a golf course on site too. The room was modern, comfortable and clean with a large en suite. It was not part of the main building but a short walk to a row of modern cottages. The breakfast was excellent with a view of the golf course and good waiting staff.
We went here because of the voucher but would be happy to go again and pay the full price (£89 for a standard double room including breakfast)

Room Tip: Ours was Lavendar cottage room 3D I believe, and was excellent. The window is a velux type so not so...

Myself and my husband just popped in to Heacham Manor to check out the golf course as hubby plans a golf break along the Norfolk Coast and was looking for a links course nearer to Kings Lynn. I read the web site and it clearly said Heacham Manor welcomes dogs so we took our greyhound Minnie and decided we would have a stroll by the course and a coffee in the bar. The hotel, golf course and new barn spa / bar conversion was impressive but we weren't allowed to take Minnie for a walk by the course, she wasn't allowed in the hotel or the barn bar so actually dogs are only really welcome in the designated suites ....but if you fancy a stroll round the hotel , course or drink in the bar , you have to leave your dog behind! We were told that the reason for this is that some guests may have allergies to dogs or just not like them. I can appreciate this but anyone with an aversion to dogs will have read the website and decided this is a dog friendly hotel ( as we did ) and will stay away. I just feel this needs clarifying and would ask Heacham Manor to at least set aside some indoor public areas for our canine friends while they are staying with you in this lovely hotel.

Had a lovely relaxing 2 night stay here with the Groupon deal. It was brilliant value for money and would have been if we paid the full price too! Staff were helpful and attentive, the room was well thought out and we appreciated the little touches such as real milk! The surrounding area is great to explore and the short 20 minute walk across the golf course to the beach is well worth it. Heacham Manor is in a perfect position and had a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. Thank you very much!

Room Tip: Standard room is very high standard!

We had an overnight stay, which I have to say was excellent.
The service was friendly and attentive.
The room was clean, tidy and the size was reasonable with a nice en-suite.
The evening meal well presented and good quality with home made bread.
We will definitely return
