This was our 4th stay at Fuzzy Duck and is perfect for our family holiday. A lovely garden, cottage is setup for families with young children, good village location for exploring the area and as always spotlessly clean. I'm sure we will be back again!
This was our second stay at Fuzzy Duck and it was just as wonderful as our first time. It really is a home from home with everything you could possibly need and more. A very big thank you to Dave and Helen for such a super cottage.
We have just returned from a fantastic week away at Fuzzy Duck Cottage. Having booked the holiday on a whim back in chilly January (with no knowledge of Norfolk) we were delighted to find ourselves in such a lovely cottage in a location with so many things to do. The cottage itself is very pretty, not too small, clean and really has just about everything you could ask for. Our children loved having a nice garden to play in and were excited to sleep in bunk beds. On that note, it was great to discover there were stairgates at the top and bottom of the stairs as the stairs are reasonably steep and our youngest is only two. The cottage is conveniently located for visiting Kings Lynn, Sandringham and the beaches (and crabbing) at Wells-next-the-Sea. There is loads to do in that area of the world - we will have to visit Norfolk again! Finally, the owners, Dave and Helen, sent us some really helpful tips before we arrived and clearly care about their guests having a nice time - thanks both!
Amazing cottage - very clean and well equipped - everything you need for a break away near the coast.
Owners have done a great job and the welcome pack on arrival is a lovely little touch.
Would highly recommend.
We recently stayed in Fuzzy Duck Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were lucky to be blessed with fairly good English weather (!) and the garden is perfect for enjoying some early evening sunshine. Fully equipped with a summerhouse you're able to extend your evening in the garden with fairy lights and comfort making it ideal for a BBQ (which coincidentally is also provided).
The cottage has all the necessary amenities, three great bedrooms, with the master hosting a mass of storage space! There's plenty of evening entertainment provided including a Wii, DVDS, Books and board games if you fancy a relaxed night in. Bikes are available in the shed so it's quite easy to cycle to the next village, Hunstanton, along the beach promenade.
The hosts, Dave and Helen were wonderfully informative, sending across a useful list of local things to do and places to eat ahead of our stay. There's a Tesco express in town and a selection of pubs nearby making it a great location. It's within walking distance to Heacham Beach where you can admire the wonderful (and the weird) beach huts at your leisure.
I would and do fully recommend Fuzzy Duck Cottage, the neighbourhood feels welcoming and everything you could need is encapsulated within one property. My mother came and joined us for an evening, she loved it too - and a mum's intuition is always right!
The cottage was exactly how it is portrayed in the photos. Lovely garden and excellent host/owner. Heacham is a lovely little town. Lovely walk along the sea front to Hunstanton.
This is exactly how a holiday cottage should be. Everything that is required from a holiday cottage is catered for to the highest possible standard. We spend quite a lot of time in North Norfolk and have used quite a few different cottages - I would hope we no longer need to look for another and can carry on using Fuzzy Duck in coming years. As I say - Fuzzy Duck is exactly how a holiday cottage should be. Thank you.
