Had an afternoon drive out,and found this wonderful restaurant which seemed to be in the middle if nowhere, and yet was close to busy Ashton, the hospital, and not too far from Oldham.
Absolutely beAutiful decor inside. Outside as you stride through the conservatory was a delightful garden area with seating and parasols. A fountain and patio area were in the midst of being constructed .
We opted for early dining menu 2 courses for £9.95 - there wasn't a lot of variety, and the food was basic but good. Waiter service too, which these days is rare, our waitress couldn't do enough for us!
On looking at the main menu the variety was vast and began with bar snacks, only to finish with elaborate fish dishes - price range from £7 to £30. Something for everyone and every palate I think, including Italian and tapas.
I will definitely be taking hubby one fine evening for some fine dining,I'm sure we won't be disappointed!
