Family ticket 2 adults 2 children £26, £2 animal food, £7 short train ride. On entry there are small tractors, cars for smaller kids. You then go through a barn with pigs cows sheep goats. At certain times you can feed lambs. Outside there are same animals to feed with food bought. The train ride is short and stops at small play area for 10 minutes. There is a soft play area inside which is small and wild, with lots of unruly bigger kids. The cafe is a rip off .Childrens sandwich choice was small sandwich and about 4 quavers drink not included and was expensive. Our visit including food cost us over £60 so recommend taking own food.

We took our two grandchildren 2 years and 7 years to Windmill Farm. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and there was lots to do with both girls. First of all we went for the train ride around the farm. What a novelty, a miniature train. Then we fed the animals and it was especially great for the girls to bottle feed the lambs. We had a good and reasonably priced lunch indoors near the children's indoor play areas which the girls loved. There are plenty of outdoor toys too. The Maize maze was amazing (pardon the pun). Windmill Farm is a great day out for all the family. What can be better than having fun with your Grandchildren.

I took my three grandchildren for the day and we all really loved it. They are 6, 11 and 13 and there was something for everybody... Indoor play area for big ones and the under fours. Outside adventure park, animals to feed, my grandson gave a bottle to a lamb! There was a fab maize maze and of course the train, and to our delight they had a steam engine on that day! You can take your own picnic, there is also a great cafe and of course a gift shop! The man in the gift shop even lent me a pen to do my crossword when I went in to buy one!

We got there at 11 and left at 4.30 and even then it was difficult to get them out! A great day... Would strongly recommend.

My daughter loved Windmill farm it's quaint still has that proper farm feel too it, Which is really nice

The staff are very friendly and helpful

Love the little steam train I like that they have a stop off picnic point at the little station would love too see them do more with the station drop off point.

Indoor activity play area is great if the weather turns but still plenty to do if the rain starts. Gift shop is reasonable too which is good

Creepy crawlers is a must!! If you like snakes spiders lizards its worth a visit just for this, the man we spoke to was very knowledgable the kids loved listening to him you also get to hold a few of the snakes if you want too

Cafe was clean and tidy we had hot drinks and snacks

So if your looking for a good day out Windmill farm is a well worth a visit you won't be disappointed

We've been going to Windmill farm almost monthly for the past 3 years. It's been brilliant for all ages, from 1 up to 17, older children are allowed in the soft play area, and there's always lots to do and see.
The cafe is reasonably prices and the groups that they bring in (creepy crawlies and birds of prey) are very interesting
Each year they have a maize maze, and animal feeding and just about everything you could want from a day at the farm. One of the best local attractions around
