Just spent a very enjoyable week in 12 Swan, a 1 bedroom apartment. Very clean and well equiped-everything we needed. Groundfloor with a small balcony with table and chairs-lovely to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun and watch and feed the wildlife (swans, ducks and various birds). Lovely location to relax or easy to get out and visit new places without driving too far. We left things to do sowill return soon.

We stayed for a week in one of the block overlooking the Marina. It was really clean and had a little bits of things to get you started - coffee, clingfilm, dishwash tablets etc. Fully functional kitchen. Our Grandchildren came up for the weekend and the younger one loved watching a longboat dock through the window and feeding the swans. Plenty of walks nearby. Fantastic farm shop over the road with good meat/cheese etc. and a cafe. Wine shop good and reasonable.

All the Staff were really friendly and the key safe meant you could arrive when you wanted. We initially booked a one bed for us but when we told our Daughter, changed to a three bed for her family! Plenty of room and we did not get under each others feet.

Room Tip: Stay in one of the buildings overlooking the Marina if you want a good view. This is a spur of the canal so you will not see any passing boats, just ones heading for the Marina, which is a dead end.

Absolutely lovely place to stay on the marina. Rooms are well decorated and have a modern look. The apartment was well maintained and clean. Unfortunately in lapwing due to it being so close to the motorway a goods night sleep is difficult as the motorway traffic can be heard loudly from the bedrooms. This traffic fortunately cannot be heard from the balconies. I have since been advised by the company that this noise cannot be heard on the other side of the marina so would definately stay again but ask to stay on the other side. The area is good with nice walks close by and short car journeys to others.

Think it's extortionate to charge £40 for 2 dogs to stay for one evening from checking in after 3 to check out at 10am.
Other than that cottage was lovely, very nice and clean. Very close to motorway noise wise if you were sitting outside but can't hear in the properties.

A lovely self-catering apartment. We only stayed the one night but what a treat. It was like being at home. These are little town houses with all the essentials you would have at home. Washer, Fridge, Freezer, cooker, hoover, dryer, iron, tv & dvd player etc etc. They have a full upstairs with two double bedrooms, bath and en-suite. Downstairs is a full kitchen, dining and living area equipped with everything you need. Gorgeous modern furnishings and very well presented. Set on a small marina with canal this establishment is very well cared for and the owners do a great job. Highly recommended.
