Description: Catch23 Restaurant, Cake House and Coffee Shop overlooks the fishing lakes by Kellet Lane Borwick, just off Junction 35 on the M6 at the Carnforth interchange. Built on the site of a redundant gravel pit,the views across the water and the tranquillity of the scenery compliment the surroundings of the building beautifully, and there are many interesting things to spot in the naturalised landscape. The dining room and coffee shop are open every day from 9.00 In the morning (except Christmas and New year) with a warm and friendly greeting to welcome guests all year round. Our menu is carefully selected using produce from local suppliers to bring some of the best value, quality dining in the locality. There is always a selection of Daily Specials which are in addition to the regular menus and these tend to be made up from seasonal ingredients brought in specially for the day. Their availability is limited and so it is worthwhile booking early to avoid disappointment at busy times. Reservations are not essential but recommended. There is a good range of choices and very often live music when we have our wine inclusive menus on special occasions. Private functions can be arranged for family and business entertaining and we are always happy to create individual menus to suit the event. As a very happy customer recently commented :- " A Little Hidden Gem " !

One day whilst out for a drive we stumbled upon this lovely spot we were so impressed we booked it for our wedding day. What can we say Kay and her team looked after us like royalty the food was equally impressive and beautifully presented as was the unique setting they put together for us all in the cake shop. The service and staff were extremely professional and attentive, the meals were absolutely fantastic and thanks to a bit of luck with the weather we had a truly memorable day all thanks to Catch 23. Myself and my new bride would like to thank Kay for all her personal help and look forward to our next visit which will be very soon.

The coffee shop at catch 23 is a must for anyone who loves cakes. All are made in house... & the clotted cream scones are to die for! We have visited many times & have never been disappointed (apart from when the scones have sold out!) The staff are friendly, the service is excellent & the views from the terrace delightful.

Found this on trip advisor. We visit Carnforth area a lot and like to have a lunch out every now and again. The food here was really good. My Husbands burger was "one of the best" and this from someone who used to spend a lot of time in America. My hot salad with avocado pear was a nice idea but as a Home Economist, I would not cook the pear as it loses something and reminds me of my 1970's dinner parties where I tried to do things with exotic vegetables.
I would book if I went again as one of the best tables in the window was reserved and empty for over thirty minutes.
Waitress exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Nice setting and nice view. Would go again and take my family.

We have a caravan sited nearby and have made it a tradition to visit Catch23 every time.

This morning we called in for breakfast - oh my goodness - quality produce used. Well worth the £8.95.

Service was a little unfriendly and the espresso was cold. (Warm the cup first and make sure you run it a couple of times before serving -though probably the first of the day) A fresh slightly warmer one was given after raising the issue.

The food and the view compensated for any indiscretion.

That's again - see you soon!!! (Keep up with the Barista training!)
