My mum and I stopped here by chance looking for late afternoon lunch, as many other places had stopped serving. Had no idea what to expect, but we were glad we made this choice. The inside of the Boatyard is a small cafe rather than a restaurant, but there is seating outside in a pleasant environment ideal for summer.
Food was simply prepared but good quality. I had a salad with a lightly spiced chicken breast and fresh as a daisy salad. They specialize in pizza, with burgers, salads and sandwiches and a specials board which seemed to have Persian influences. Good range of coffee and a small bar.
The owner/manager was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. It was a quiet late afternoon but everything about this place suggests attention to detail and pride in service, great for a summer afternoon. I would point out you need to have cash on you, cards are not currently accepted.
