Use the railway often, especially with elderly relative and hound. Excellent and very fond of this lovely quaint mode of transport from low to high town.

£1.10 return and small children free ! Great views, great little quirky attraction.
Visit in the summer, park up in high town, have a stroll around the market or independant shops then get the railway down to low town, pop in to M&S food, the bakery or chip shop and walk to Severn Park with your spoils. Let the kids have a run round the park, enjoy your food and stroll back along the river to the funicular railway and back up to high town.
A great day will be had by all !

A short trip up (or down) the railway saves the legs when visiting Bridgnorth! The journey gives you time to pause and take in the unique view across the River Severn and around Low Town.
