With it's close association with Tanners Wine Merchants and its daytime menu of simple homemade cooking an afternoon snack can soon turn into a glass or two of wine from their extensive collection. The daytime can quickly become nighttime as you find yourself drawn to the welcoming happy atmosphere that has been created by Bridgnorth's newest landlords. Keep an eye on our menu page too, new evening and children's menu plus our recently launched "Pie Room".

“Man size pie dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

Last night we went to the pie room at bamboo, my father in law has been talking about going for a few weeks so we did. And to be fair it was great very easy choice of pie - steak & Stilton for me choice of mash cheese please and finished with good old mushy peas and gravy, only a few things I would have like a little mint sauce with mine, just me and I would have like to have seen the chef in clean chefs whites again just me overall very taste meal great size and great value for money good job be back soon.

“Good pie!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

Really simple - pick your pie, pick your mash and whether you want peas, mushy peas or carrots. Food arrived quickly, hot, tasty and served with a smile. Good pint of peroni as well. Well priced, a really good choice for quality "pub grub!"

“Amazing!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014

Great choices of pie and different varieties of mash, absolutely amazing! Best pie we've eaten and a mountain of mash, couldn't eat it all but was delicious! Reasonably priced for the portion you get, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, will definitely be returning!

“Great pie and mash”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

This was our second visit and great pie and mash - steak and kidney pie, mushy peas and
mustard mash. We visited with our vegetarian son, wife and grandchildren. He eats
there regularly because he likes the veggie menu and the non veggie children enjoy
the children's meals.

We ate at lunchtime and were driving home but noted that the wine did seem to be
expensive when you consider the pie and mash is £6.95.

Pleasant staff and good service but difficult to find parking nearby and when you
do it is 40 minutes only. There are car parks in High Town and for visitors to
Bridgnorth a ride down on the funicular rail is fun or a walk down Carters Way
is interesting but a bit of a climb back so take the funicular
