“A little piece of heaven”
Reviewed 8 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

A beautiful little cottage in a peaceful rural setting, but within easy reach(approx 5-10 mins drive) of the stunning city of Bath.If you love peace, wildlife and romance then Brooks view is a must. The little summer house at the bottom of the garden is really nice especially with the soothing sound of the brook. The log fire was really good and kept my husband occupied(what is it with men and fire ?) The thermae spa in Bath was amazing, especially in the evening with the view of the cathedral and the sun setting.Visited Stonehenge which is only a 40 minute drive away.As soon as i got back home booked the cottage again for the summer, with our son in tow this time.

“Idyllic, scenic and perfect”
Reviewed 28 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

A superb cosy cottage, in a rural setting, but still only 10-15 mins from Bath. The cottage is tastefully decorated and is everything you need for a relaxing break away. The garden is a haven for wildlife, and the surrounding countryside is stunning. The directions were spot on, easy parking, and the welcome we were given was excellent. The welcome pack was much appreciated, and was tailored specifically to my Coeliac needs. We wish we could have stayed for a few more days, but will return next time for a longer stay.

A fantastic get away to a peaceful rural setting. Was a surprise couple of days away for my girlfriends birthday and we spent a little time in the local area and visited Longleat safari park, a must! Log fire was superb and bathroom well equipped. Would visit again

“Perfect!”
Reviewed 11 April 2013 for a stay in April 2013

This was a perfect place to stay for a lovely weekend in Bath. Only a 10/15 minute drive to the city centre and a half an hour drive to Longleat Safari Park. Had a fantastic meal at the Wheelwright Arms - just a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Very well equipped - everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The personal touches were really appreciated, especially the sherry and cakes! Wish we had stayed longer so we could have gone on a walk in the beautiful surroundings! Will definitely be coming back!

“Must stay cottage so close to Bath”
Reviewed 22 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Such a super cottage. Excellent level of comfort with high quality fittings through out.Everything needed for a relaxed stay. Very easy internet access and a great location too. Easily found the Park and Ride so didn't even have to drive into the city. A little haven that we'll definately use whenever we visit Bath ( if it's free!)

Management Response
23 Mar 2013
So pleased Brooks' View fulfilled your expectations. We shall very shortly be even closer to Bath city centre: there is a new tunnel opening at Tucking Mill whereby you can walk into Bath in 25 mins (they say) and cycle in 10! You will have to come again just to test it.

The weather has been bad so far this year - I can do nothing about that- but if the bits I can influence have allowed you to enjoy your time at Brooks' View I am delighted.

Why not come back for the Christmas Market 22 Nov - 9 December...some great fun to be had!

Best wishes

Ann

“A memorable weekend”
Reviewed 21 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

I booked this as a surprise for my boyfriends 30th and this was perfect. We went on Walk 2 of the recommended walks and the sunshine stayed out long enough for us to have breakfast on the patio. The cottage was cozy and the location was perfect for two city folk who wanted to get away from it all. My boyfriend hasn’t stopped smiling so was definitely worth the visit.

“Perfect Christmas break”
Reviewed 13 March 2013 for a stay in December 2012

We had a fantastic stay at Brooks' View and couldn't fault the facilities or the warm welcome we received. The surroundings are simply beautiful and we enjoyed a comfortable and relaxed stay over the Christmas holidays. It's just a few miles from Bath city centre and all the shops, restaurants and spa facilities it has to offer, so perfect for day trips out. We loved the cottage layout and the log fire - really cosy and the perfect break away from London living. Would definitely love to return in the summer months as this is such amazing value for money (much better than a clinical hotel).
