“Relaxing country stay!”
Reviewed 3 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We really enjoyed our weekend at Brooks View in October. The cottage was in a great location close to Bath but was also so peaceful and quiet! We had a lovely meal at the Hope and Anchor nearby which we would definitely recommend visiting.

Thank you so much for a great stay and we hope to visit again in the Summer!

“Beautiful place!!”
Reviewed 24 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We have just returned from a 3 night break at Brooks View. What an amazing place! Spotlessly clean, has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
We loved the log burner, used it every night as it was chilly out. Beautiful large garden with furniture, summerhouse, babbling brook and even a river! The wildlife in the garden was a treat to see. My partner is keen on bird life and was very happy to have seen a woodpecker frequently visiting the tree outside our window.
The path route from the car park to the cottage is very rustic,I am disabled so found it a bit difficult so needed help from partner but it wouldn’t stop us returning.
Only 15 minutes drive from Bath city centre. We would like to return during summer and for longer so we can make full use of the garden and outdoors and visit more of the surrounding area.
Can not fault the cottage or facilities! Highly recommended!

“Peaceful, comfortable & restful”
Reviewed 15 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Lovely cottage away from it all, very quiet - except for the song birds. Warm, comfortable & relaxing.

Good internet connection so not completely away from the modern world.

“Absolutely Amazing Cottage”
Reviewed 17 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We had an amazing time at this cottage and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away for a peaceful break either as a couple or as friends

The check in process was easy thanks to clear instructions from the team

The cottage is beautiful and homely with an amazing garden with running water and a beautiful out house where you can sit and admire the views. There are bird houses and feeders so they come right up to the window and flitter away it's is genuinely so beautiful!

Inside the decor is beautiful and you are provided with all the essentials you could possibly need such an plates, an iron, cooking utensils, towels just to name a few. We were surprised by how well equipped it was! The bed is so comfortable with the most amazing views of the garden in the morning. The beautiful large bath was a highlight for me and added to the overall relaxation on the trip

In terms of location this was great for us, we wanted ultimate relaxation so we got the train and chose not to hire a car while there. We were at most 15 mins away from anything we wanted to do such as Roman baths, the abbey and some beautiful restaurants and bars. If you don't fancy driving then taxis are easy to get and aren't too expensive (£12-16) into the centre.

The nearest shop is around 6-8 minutes away by car (unless we missed a closer one) and so definitely stock up on a few food bits on your way would be my only advise, then you have no reason to ever leave! :)

Wouldn't hesitstate to recommend this place to family and friends and would definitely go back!!

Wow...difficult to know how to respond to such a lovely review.
Thank you so much..not much more for me to say except there are a lovely walks from the doorstep and we are on Sustrans Route 24 so cycling in and out of Bath as well as walking is very convenient. Beautiful countryside in the area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Do come again

Superb cottage. Very clean and has everything you need. Wonderful garden. We very much enjoyed the garden in the sun with the babbling brook at the end. Parking no problem. Easy access to Bath with its many attractions. Will definitely visit again. Not to be missed.

“Very relaxed and comfortable”
Reviewed 6 January 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Fantastic location in a beautiful valley in a rural setting, but only 10 minutes drive to the middle of Bath. Fantastic for countryside walks and visits to the sites of Bath. Really cosy with a log burner and very clean and well equipped.
