My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and we were so impressed. Driving up to the hotel we felt as if we were truly away from the hustle and bustle of London as we were right in the heart of the valley, surrounded by beautiful green fields and fantastic views of the Somerset countryside. Driving through the gates we were presented with a beautiful old vicarage with a contemporary twist to it. Walking into the reception area we were greeted by very friendly members of staff who quickly got us booked in early (we arrived around 3 hours before check in) and were promptly shown to our rooms. A nice, clean room with a lovely smell, a cute en suite and a chocolate on the towels, a lovely touch in my eyes! The staff were so polite and helpful, they told us where to go, how to get there and even booked a table at the local restaurant for us on the Friday night which was divine! Breakfasts were delicious, atmosphere was lovely and we really couldn't find a single fault, we loved it!!

16 of us stayed overnight here for an 80th Birthday.
The hotel was clean, with modern rooms and excellent facilities.
We had dinner in a private room on the Saturday evening and the staff could not have been more polite, helpful, or attentive.
We were offered a choice of menus to pre -order, which was able to cope with varied pallets of the age range of between 8 and 80!
Breakfast was also excellent and again, staff who had made sure we were catered for until 2.00am, were just as polite and attentive at 9.00am!
Congratulations in an outstanding place to stay!

My husband and i stayed for one night at Waterhouse Hotel.
Excellent service. A really lovely, peaceful place to stay. Friendly staff - with local area knowledge of places to dine in the evening.
Would definitely return.

We stayed at Waterhouse during a weekend get away in Bath. If you are looking for a small, intimate but friendly hotel then this is for you! Kate and Ed couldn't have been more helpful- with advice on where to eat, loaning umbrellas and torches to settling us by a warm fire with restorative drinks! A beautiful and well appointed room which wasn't too hot. Breakfast was lovely-fresh with good sized portions. The only downside was the lack of in house restaurant but Kate was able to direct us to a fantastic pub within walking distance with fab food. A romantic great away location.
