This was my first visit to Fennel, and I'll definitely be back. The food and service were top notch, and the atmosphere was excellent. Thanks to the staff for making us feel as though we were the most important customers in the restaurant, although I believe they would make the other customers feel the same

First time at the restaurant with a group of friends. Sat near the door downstairs. Smaller than I was expecting but very warm and friendly. Good service, very attentive, not sure if it was the owner who kept checking everything was satisfactory. Seafood linguine was absolutely fantastic, only had one course due to the generous portion. Prices very good. The others had steak and fish and they all looked amazing. Would definitely come back the next time I'm in Aberdeen.

Restaurant itself is very nice and modern, service was good.

My husband had scallops to start and he said they were amazing, then we both had fillet steak, medium. We have been to many restaurants and have been disappointed by the "medium" cooked steak but this was cooked to perfection! With the steak was chips, mushroom and tomato and the peppercorn sauce was to die for! It's a little bit expensive at £25 per person per steak, but average for Aberdeen but well worth it and I will definitely be going back and recommending it! Compliments to the chef!,

Bill and his team at Fennel make this the place to eat and drink in Inverurie.
We have been several times and would recommend to anyone.
We are looking forward to returning again soon.

Have fancied Fennel Restaurant for some time now so finally got around to booking a meal for myself and my husband. We were given the choice of upstairs or downstairs and as we hadn't been before we left the choice to the lady who took the booking. She put us upstairs which was a good choice as it was quieter, there were a few larger parties downstairs which may have drowned out our conversation.
We were seated not far from the window but as were underneath the air conditioning it was quite cold. I asked if we could move but the waitress explained that it wouldn't really help so she turned the air conditioning off which was much more comfortable.
We both ordered scallops to start with and fillet steak for the main course. Both courses were delivered in good time and the staff were all very friendly and polite without being intrusive. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is my husbands sticky toffee pudding was slightly dry however this didn't spoil a lovely meal. Would definitely recommend.
