“A beautiful cottage which was a pleasure to stay in.”
Reviewed 26 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

After a 5 night stay, I highly recommend this cottage to other holiday makers. The cottage retains so many of its lovely original features, but it has been sympathetically modernised and fully equipped to create everything you need for a perfect holiday. The cottage is close to all amenities in the village, which is not far from Inverurie and Aberdeen. Our host, Drew and his wife made our stay everything we could ask for and more. We would definitely look to book this competitively priced cottage again.

“Lovely rural location, close to public transport, very quiet and peaceful.”
Reviewed 30 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

The cottage was really lovely with fantastic amenities and plenty of accommodation. Watch out for the low ceilings though! There were a few issues with wifi but aside from that the wee cottage was gorgeous, cosy, comfortable and remarkably spacious.

“Centrally situated, well equipped and spacious cottage at a good price”

After an 11 night stay I am happy to recommend this cottage to other travelers and holiday makers. The cover photo of this quaint cottage is misleading as once inside a good size kitchen/dining area and living room awaits. The bedrooms are also spacious.
The cottage has been modernized enough to create a cosy, clean and comfortable atmosphere whilst keeping the charm and character of the original cottage such as the stone fireplace in the kitchen. The bathroom sports a good size bath tub and good quality shower unit also. I was impressed by how well equipped the cottage was in terms of mod cons/pans/cutlery/utensils etc. During our stay we wanted for nothing and didn't have to supplement any of the equipment, which is not usually the case with other holiday lets we have stayed at.
Although we didn't get the chance to use it, there is also a large back garden along with BBQ to use in the nicer weather. The cottage itself is centrally situated, opposite a main bus route and within walking distance of handy amenities such as the Post Office and CoOp etc. Our host Drew was very friendly and accommodating to our needs and provided excellent communication and care before, during and after our stay.
All in all, we had a fantastic trip and would definitely look to book this competitively priced cottage again. Highly recommended. :)
