This is a pleasant guest house conveniently located for the small town centre of Burntisland and within walking distance of the train station.
The proprieters provide a warm and friendly welcome and a delicious breakfast.
The room was spacious and cosy and the DVDs were a nice touch.
I can recommend this guest house.

We have just stayed two nights at this super Guest House and I have to say it was the best one we have ever stayed in. The ownwers were lovely people who just couldn't do enough for us to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
We were going out to a venue on Saturday evening and despite the terrible weather he put himself out to take us there - right to the door. What impressed us was the attention to detail,
everything was done for our comfort. The bed was great - the breakfast superb - if I had any complaint he gave us too much and beautifully presented. We've stayed in some hotels that didn't come up to number 69s standard. They went the extra mile and it showed. We would definately reccommend staying here. You're in for a treat.

Room Tip: Ask for the Red Room

We couldn't have been better housed, fed or ferried around on our stay while doing the Fife Coastal Path. Eddie was the perfect host with breakfasts and evening meals of the highest standard. Fresh, innovative dishes with home-made bread and pancakes. Don't do the Walk without experiencing this B&B with bells on.

Room Tip: Red room at the back is quiet with views over the gardens and town

We can endorse the comments of other reviewers. Warm welcome. Spotless stylishly decorated room with all facilities. But above all the food at this B&B is absolutely superb. We pre-booked dinner, cooked by Eddie who is an award-winning chef and lecturer. Wonderful 4 course meal beautifully cooked and presented. Breakfast was likewise delicious. We can recommend this B&B without reservation.

This is a B&B of the highest standard. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and stylish with every amenity you could require. Eddie is a friendly and helpful host but he excels in the kitchen. I would recommend the black pudding with apple concoction, absolutely delicious, as was the salmon and perfectly poached egg. My husband enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast both mornings, and we both enjoyed the beautiful fruit platter. Thanks for the 'fluffy' tea too! With family in Burntisland, we were chuffed to bits to find this gem of a B&B, and will be seeing you again soon. Many thanks!

Room Tip: All the rooms look lovely but we chose the Red Room, which is spacious and overlooks the garden.

This is what B&Bs should be like - friendly, do anything to help service, good residents lounge, free wifi & simply terrific breakfasts cooked by Eddie the chef. One of the best we stayed at during the whole Fife Coastal walk. If they were all like this life would be so easy!

I stayed for two nights and therefore two breakfasts. The poached eggs were so good the first morning I asked for them again the second morning. They were again so good I asked Eddie how he did it. He willingly explained the care, attention and detail that went into my perfect breakfast. I will not reveal all his secrets, but the process involved a bowl of chilled water. If you want to know more you will have to stay there and ask him yourself.
I will certainly be back as I want to try his scrambled eggs next time!
This may be a four star bed and breakfast, but the food is five star and the friendly hospitality is six star.
