Had a great stay in a sea facing, balcony room - view fabulous. Lovely staff and tasty, well presented food. Ideal place for a quiet relaxing break and a well kept attractive garden with seating areas, if you happen to get a sunny day - which we did. Overall very relaxing, would recommend.

Very good and excellent value with excellent service. The staff were very pleasant and were around when we got up in the morning. We stayed three days and we had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very good with tea and coffee and wifi.

Visited the Kingswood Hotel recently for my brothers wedding our stay was for four days and from our arrival which was warm and friendly from both Kathryn and Rankin i felt very much at home. As a wedding venue it was perfect the team really pulled together to make the day for my brother and sister in law a day to remember. I stayed for a further few days and have to say it was a lovely relaxing time the room was spacious. immaculately clean all the facilities you could want. The restaurant was really good and the staff friendly, breakfast was very good. a good choice of both hot and cold dishes. Dinner was very relaxed a good choice of food and wines very well served always with a smile.I will certainly be returning a great place to unwind.

Room Tip: we stayed in room 2 which has two separate bedrooms and a shared bathroom which is great for a famil...

Had a four day stay on the dinner b&b rate. Food choice and standard was very good. They catered well for coeliacs too. We have a wheelchair so had the only ground floor room which is at the back. Very dark and no view. Shame there is no lift as an upstairs balcony room with views across to Edinburgh would be lovely. Family were courteous and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Burntisland beach was nice on a warm evening. Hotel positioned well for touring The Kingdom of Fife.

Thank you for your comments. As almost everything is prepared on the premises, catering for coeliacs is not a problem at all for our chefs. We only have a total of 13 bedrooms & can only offer 1 ground floor bedroom, whilst it doesn't have benefit our beautiful views hopefully these can be enjoyed from our restaurant at breakfast and dinner

I had to make a last minute trip to Scotland for unfortunate family matters. I booked into the Kingswood with only a few days to spare. Both Kathryn and Rankin Bell were more than helpful and gracious. They made sure I was staying in my home away from home. The bed was clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, the overall hotel atmosphere was cozy and endearing. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a kinder reception during my four days at the Kingswood. I highly recommend it for an overnight or a fortnight stay. And whatever you do, make sure to have an evening meal in the dining room. Each dinner was delicious and left me well passed stuffed by the end. Truly a gem of a place in Burntisland. I can't wait to go back for a visit.

We had been I Scotland for a week, exploring and researching ancestors, when we checked in to Kingswood. It was exactly what we were hoping for; a spacious set of rooms, quiet location, beautiful view, but primarily a very caring and professional ownership. They were helpful in unexpected ways, including chasing down wifi problems and recommending the library as a source for our research. The food was excellent and the price was right. What more could one ask?

The hotel was easy to find and has a lot of parking space. The room we had was very spacious, 2 separate bedrooms (for 3 people) and a bathroom. After some help from the landlord we got the shower working which was ok. The food in the restaurant is good although not a lot of choice available. All in all very good!

Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review, your comments are much appreciated. Whilst our menus are perhaps not hugely extensive please bear in mind that the menus change regularly and we use fresh meat, poultry and fish as well as making our owns soups sauces desserts etc and can therefor offer a better quality than frozen foods
