Gruinard Guest House is very clean and tidy. Only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. We would recommend this accomodation to any couple looking for a night or more away.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely

A night in Burntisland - just to relax and enjoy - was just what my husband and I needed and Gruinard Guest House fitted the bill perfectly. Welcomed by Jean and Gus into their lovely Guest House we were delighted to find that the accommodation was spacious and facilities spotless. Attention to detail is their forte with homebaking on arrival and a sumptuous breakfast before departure. The double room we had for our stay had everything we required and a good nights sleep was had by both.
Many thanks Jean and Gus - we will return.

this guest house is a little gem. we came across it (and the owners) several years ago whilst looking for a place to stay when we visited murrayfield. there is a short journey by train into edinburgh.
you can expect a great welcome (including sherry and shortbread).the rooms are very clean, bedding to die for,the food is great. every room is tastefully decorated.no need to worry if youve forgotten your toiletries, these are readily available. theres a pub further down the road that serves evening meals.
always an enjoyable stay.

Run by a wonderfully friendly couple, this guest house is perfection. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and immaculate with a beautiful, luxurious duvet over the comfortable bed, decorated with our pile of thick fluffy towels artistically arranged with a bow. It felt a shame to disturb them.
How lovely to receive an innovative breakfast menu.. I can thoroughly recommend the freshly cooked pancakes served in the sunny conservatory looking onto the artistic seaside garden which we were welcome to explore later.
Thank you for a delightful stay in your quiet corner in Fife, only a short train journey from Edinburgh.

We Stayed at Gruinard Guest House for 3 nights and could not fault it in any way. The service was excellent and Jean and Angus could not do enough to please. The rooms were very comfortable with lovely attention to detail. Breakfast was served in the conservatory overlooking the garden. The menu was very good and food delicious.
The guest house is perfectly situated close to the beach and only a short walk to the local shops and railway station. Good local buses made it very easy to visit places near by. Next time we visit Burntisland we will definitely stay at Gruinard.

We stayed here on the way to driving to the highlands of Scotland. One night going and one night on the way back. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with good views over the river to Edinburgh. Jean and Angus made us most welcome with a cup of tea on arrival and there was a decanter of sherry in the room. The small touches in the room make all the difference, and the breakfast was excellent. As an ex-owner of a guest house, we do notice how things are run. I would have no hesitaion in recommending Gruinard.
