To celebrate two of ours groups birthdays six of us decided to book a weekend away in Aviemore. In the run up to the weekend owner Jackie was extremely helpful and made sure everything was organised for our visit. She even made sure the heating was switched on before we arrived!
The house itself is just gorgeous, there was loads of room for 6 of us and 9 would still be extremely comfortable. We spend the first night out in the conservatory having birthday cake and enjoying the late evening sun - it was extremely warm despite being the beginning of May!
On the Saturday we took ourselves off kayaking for the day and it was fantastic to come back and build our own fire to cosy up to. We also went exploring in the woods that you can access through the back garden.
The kitchen had everything you could possibly ask for with an utility room off the side.
The shower has to be one of the most talked about things of the weekend though - it was amazing! The option of a wonderful power shower or an incredible rain shower head was enjoyed by all after the kayaking!
Two of the bedrooms are on the bottom floor so great if anyone with young children or anyone who struggles with stairs would still be more than comfortable. There is plenty of space for parking outside with a gate to close of the drive way to the road.
The location was great for us as we all had cars and we wanted somewhere quiet but it was only a 20 minute run to anywhere we wanted to go in regards to shops and cafes in aviemore to the water sports at loch morlich.
My dogs would have loved it and it was only an extra fee for cleaning if we did bring pets along.
I couldn't recommend this place more we absolutely loved it and would love to come and stay again in the future.

Booked this house as a last minute getaway due to the snowfall. Usually stay in Aviemore but thought we would try something different and we weren't left disappointed.
House was modern but comfortable and the forest access from the back of the house was amazing, our dog loved this for early morning and night walks.
Living room was perfect for relaxing in after a long day out and about. Had an amazing nights sleep in one if the comfiest beds i have ever slept in so make sure you sleep in the bedroom next to the kitchen.
Communication from the owner was also fantastic. A great find!
We discovered this wonderful accommodation more by chance that design and cannot praise the property and location more highly. The home is pristine, and looks to have been totally refurbished, all rooms were immaculate and perfect for our extended family. We loved the setting in the main lounge and sitting round the real fire at night as a family was fabulous, The house is set adjacent to a forest and perfect for the younger kids, whilst the area itself is perfect for accessing the surrounding hills, with good biking routes for all standards and an easy commute to Aviemore, its amenities and the ski slopes. Perfect base and highly recommended
We decided to celebrate Hogmanay and New Year with friends at Sandaig and we had a fantastic time.
The house was stylish and spacious, decorated to a high standard and, the kitchen and bathrooms are fabulous! There was plenty of room for all the families staying. The children staying included babies, primary school children and teenagers and they were all very happy in their surroundings.
The shower was amazing, perfect start to the day. We stayed in the room with the guest bed that folded out to a good size king size bed. It suited us perfectly and I had my travel cot set up at the end of the bed with my baby monitor plugged in right next to it - so I could relax!
We loved chilling out the sofas in front of the fire after dinner. The kitchen was ideal for our large group, I was grateful for the highchair as I couldn't bring mine with me.
The forrest at the rear of the property was great; the younger kids were out making dens and playing games, the teenagers and big kids made use of the nearby bike trails and we also enjoyed getting out with the pram.
Some of our group enjoyed skiing and snowboarding on the nearby slopes, which were easy to get to from the house.
We absolutely loved this place and would stay again.
