“Comfortable, pet-friendly home in ideal location”
Reviewed 16 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

We enjoyed a fun stay in Nethybridge staying at Sandaig. Backing onto Balnagowan Woods, it is in an ideal location for visiting Nethy & the surrounding area. 5 mins walk from the village & walkable to the golf course too via the woods. There is a great car port where you can store bikes in the dry (although would bring locks!). The house itself has spacious living area and large kitchen which is pretty well-equipped. Three of the bedrooms are comfortable size for adults and the smaller room downstairs is fine for children. There is an ideal utility area where our dog slept comfortably with easy access out in the morning to the Woods. The house has all that you need for a comfortable stay and plenty of hot water which is a total bonus for those action-packed days.

We have given a very good rating mainly because of the house location & some of the faciliities. We would recommend Sandaig for lots of reasons but it is not necessarily a "home from home".

“Perfect house in a perfect location”
Reviewed 13 January 2018 for a stay in December 2017

A lovely house in a lovely location with direct access to the forest. Not many property rentals allow 3 dogs however Jackie (the owner) does and this has been fantastic for us. This has been our second Hogmanay and New Year and we enjoy our time here so much that we have already booked again.
The house is well equipped, the wood burner is amazing, it's a great place to relax and a great location for discovering so many wonderful walks in the area.

“Lovely lodge in a perfect quiet location”
Reviewed 26 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

A cosy, well equipped lodge in the beautiful cairngorm area, this was exactly what we were looking for. The location is perfect - close to every outdoor activity or trail - and the wood stove is perfect to warm up around afterwards.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 30 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This was our 3rd stay at this location and it really is as good as all the reviews reflect. A perfect place to relax with family, friends not forgetting the dogs who are really spoilt given there's a forest at the back door. The house lends itself to allowing you to relax, evidenced in the fact we slept in every morning, with plenty of space for everyone both inside and out, with even barbecue and garden seating provided. The forest itself has walking paths set out and most mornings we saw deer. Nethy Bridge itself is a lovely small village 15 minutes drive from Aviemore and the Cairngorms, we visited the local hotel, foods basic pub grub but the back bar is ideal for a beer. If you or your family are the outdoor type you really are spoilt for choice between mountain biking, walking climbing, fishing golf all are right on your door step. We also took the drive north to the beaches at Nairn and Lossiemouth which are well worth taking the time to visit. Really cannot praise this place enough, simply fantastic.
