“Loved the mufungo”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

We ate here twice mostly because we loved the creole shrimp with mufungo. Even though I'm not a big fan of plantains I loved the mufungo.

“Decent food but expensive”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

This restaurant is hidden in the back of Palmanova Plaza. It is basically outdoors on the side of the Plaza. Nice and breezy and very comfortable. Service was excellent and very friendly. The food was good, but it was expensive. Two of us had steaks and my daughter had a shrimp with garlic dish. As we were on the ocean I would think seafood would be less costly than meat, but not the case. Anyway, we all enjoyed our dinner and would return given the opportunity.

“Good food”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

Great rice and beans but a bit pricey for the portion we received. Great atmosphere and if you get there before the sun sets you can see the ocean from the back deck. Great wait or service as well

“A Gem hidden in the back end of Palmanova Plaza”
Reviewed 29 March 2014 via mobile

We have been coming here for years and thoroughly enjoying this upscale Puertorican Restaurant. Excellent filet mignon, salmon and local fish. Outstanding rice and beans and other Puertorican side dishes. Wonderful friendly staff, very professional. Many have been there for years and are like family. One of the beat restaurants in Palmas Del Mar.

“great dining experience!!”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

We had a party of 9 and sat right away. Menus and warm, delicious bread came out right away. No drink menu, but they would make whatever you want. Our table had Sangria's and Magarita's and everyone liked their drink. We had Snapper(served as whole fish) flank steak, shrimp and mahimahi and everyone LOVED their meal. I personally had a chicken skewer and vegetables...both were only ok. At the end of the meal our server brought us all a shot (on the house) the bartender made up for us....very good, he would not divulge the recipe though. The only downside of this restaurant, was it's location. We were not staying at the resort, and drove in the dark(mistake of epic proportions in PR)and after asking 2 security guards and some resort familiars, we finally found the place....not well marked at all!!! It is in the Banko Plaza waaaay in the back of plaza.
