Finca Adalgisa Wine Hotel, Vineyard & Winery
Certificate of Excellence

La Finca Adalgisa was our absolute favorite place during our three-week honeymoon tour of Argentina. This place is absolutely fabulous and utterly romantic. It's located in Chacras de Coria, a pretty suburb of the city of Mendoza and the perfect base for wine-touring.
Gabriela and her staff work hard to make every guest feel utterly at home and pampered. Staff member Jessica arranged a day-long wine tour with a private driver (Fransisco, he was wonderful!), which took us to three beautiful wineries in the Maipu region: El Trapiche, Zuccardi, and Carinae. There was a fascinating tour at Trapiche, an unforgettable tasting lunch at Zuccardi (endess cuts of meat from the parrilla paired with delicious wines), and wonderful people to meet (Brigitte and Phillippe) at Carinae. The Finca Adalgisa staff also made dinner reservations at 1884 Restaurant for us and helped us rent a vintage motorcycle for a day-long ride through the beautiful Andes Mountains up to Aconcagua Peak. In addition, the staff reserved a tour and tasting lunch at Clos de Chacras winery, within walking distance to la Finca Adalgisa. The lunch is one I'll never forget. It was that delicious.
As for la Finca itself: what a beautiful property. We had a standard room, which was in a lovely stone building and nicely appointed. The vineyards are stunning and filled with birds. There is a beautiful pool set amid the vines that we loved taking a dip in during the late afternoon. There's a gorgeous tasting room where guests can enjoy a glass of la Finca's wine along with a yummy cheese plate every evening. And don't leave without taking a cooking class with Christina - it was one of the highlights of our honeymoon.
This is a small, boutique property run by people who truly care about creating a special experience for their guests. I loved Finca Adalgisa and hope we can return someday. I highly recommend it for couples.

My husband and i love to travel and while we have been fortunate enough to have been to many places, not many compare to Mendoza or The Finca Adalgisa. It's truly magical there. The land, the lovely boutique hotel, the pool and most of all the people that work there. They are ALL so so nice and helpful and knew so much about the area. Every moment at this hotel, whether it was the outstanding breakfast, lounging by the incredible pool wrapped inside their own wine vineyard, sipping malbecs at sunset or taking a fabulous cooking class -- it was all up and beyond. run don't walk!

Finca was recommended to us by a friend who visited over a year ago. We weren't sure what to expect upon arriving, but could not have been happier with our stay. Everything is so charming - the rooms, pool, wine tasting room and especially the staff. I will recommend this hotel over and over again!

Being the city person that I am, I wish there had been a fitness facility or televisions in the rooms, however I realize that this was a lesson for me - a forced (and MUCH needed) escape from it all.

My fiancee and I stayed here on a friend's recommendation. Wow! We were instantly happy! The staff-you felt like old friends immediately, the wine-amazing reds, the food-fantastic, the setting-in a vineyard with gorgeous sunsets, what else can we say? We took the cooking class in the vineyard with Cristina-excellent! We just returned a few days ago and are already planning our next visit. :))

Just returned from my first visit to Mendoza and happy to report that we all had a wonderful time, 99% due to the experience we had at Finca Adalgisa. The grounds were beautifully designed with the relaxation of the guests in mind - you'll be literally in the middle of a family vineyard!

Everyone at the Finca - even the property's house dogs - has a constant smile on their face. Morning, noon and night. After touring many other wine countries such as Napa and Sonoma, this really stood out. Everyone at the front desk consistently goes above and beyond to set you up with well matched tours, dinner reservations, advice and suggestions. Really personalized and friendly!

The rooms were all a generous size, rustic design elements but super comfortable, too. While we didn't need to use the fireplaces, it was very cool to have them - and logs - available in the room.

Daily breakfast was more like a family meal, Finca provides a large and super fresh spread along with made to order warm drinks and egg dishes. All served with a smile, of course.

For anyone who is traveling with a same sex partner or group of friends, note that this just is not an issue at Finca - or any of the wineries they will suggest you visit. This was a relief! All other guests were very fun to get to know as well.

We are incredibly glad we chose Finca!

The second we drove through the front gate we knew we were in good hands. We were immediately upgraded to the largest suite because they knew the trip was a birthday present. We drank champagne by the pool surrounded by the vineyards and enjoyed the back house where we were given our free glasses of wine and cheese. Beautiful cherry trees are scattered throughout the vineyard. Breakfast is very fresh and served until late morning. The kind staff is attentive and will help you with whatever you need (including an emergency dentist appointment ;o). Jessica scheduled our wine tour to Valle De Uco with a knowledgeable driver who was the sweetest man ever. I highly recommend going to VDU - the drive is spectacular and it is only a 1 hour car ride. Also, eat at Andeluna for lunch - Frito Lay vineyard!

Jessica and staff - Thank you so much for making our stay relaxing and delightful! We hope to see you soon. Ciao - Lauren and Joe

This is a can't miss place to stay if you're coming to Mendoza. Beautiful rooms (not one but two fireplaces in our suite), wonderful staff, great location and amazing food and wines. Highly recommend the cooking class with Christina. This was the highlight of our trip to South America. We booked through Trout and Wine which offered us the suite along with our two days of wine tours. Would love to come back!

Room Tip: Try for the suite. You will be lacking a hammock but the fireplaces and extra indoor space more than...
