I don't think I can improve upon the other reviews of the property. Our visit exceeded our expectations, and was pretty perfect. Christina's cooking class was awesome-- a fabulous family experience, even for those who are not usually the chefs in the family. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the property is exquisite. We were a family of 6 and stayed in three of the suites in the stone building in the back of the property--comfortable, roomy and picturesque. The staff was very helpful in booking horseback riding, vineyard tours and advice in general.
I would love to return.

We stayed in a lovely comfortable suite in the main building. It was very large with a bathroom and a separate room with a freestanding bath and dressing table. The included breakfast was good and the complementary wine and nibbles in the evening, served in a lovely relaxing environment, were a good way to enjoy bridging the long wait to an Argentinian dinner. A taxi ride to Mendoza town was easily arranged through reception and the hotel also recommended a number of local restaurants within comfortable walking distance (15 to 20 mins). Wine tasting in the area was a great experience - very relaxed and with no pressure to buy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Finca for 3 nights in March. The hotel, set around a small vineyard is a relaxing oasis. The staff were more than pleasant and were ever keen to help us make the most of our stay in Mendoza.

We did intend to explore the surrounding town, though after spending the day on wine tours we were more than happy to lounge by the open fires whilst sipping glasses of Finca’s own wine and eating from the limited but refreshing snack menu.

The highlight of our stay was the Asada BBQ evening. My wife and I dined with 3 other couples. If you like to meet other people whilst on holiday, this is perfect. Great company, service and food!

Highly recommended.

We stayed at Finca Adagisa for four days last month and couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed the evening wine and tapas at the winery (one glass of wine and initial tapas free). We were there during harvest, and were warmly invited to watch the pickers, sorters, and destemmers. Everyone who worked there seemed proud of the property and happy to help out. There is a small, but very nice pool. Our room was enormous with all the appropriate amenities, but very individualistic. This is not an ordinary hotel, but is a converted small winery. A couple of downsides to be aware of: there is a fairly busy road nearby and there are dogs and cats on the property and in the neighborhood. So it can be a little noisy.

Room Tip: Our room was in the old house (converted to a hotel by the owner). The room was idiosyncratic and...

I recently stayed at Finca Adalgisa for three days as part of a broader trip to Argentina. In short, it was excellent and I would highly recommend it for however long you are able to stay in the Mendoza area.

Teresa, Melissa and Cecilia are very friendly and were incredibly helpful for our entire stay including arranging transport from the airport and drivers to accompany us during the day. Over the course of our visit, the staff arranged all of our lunch and dinner reservations, winery tours and were very, very patient (and understanding) with our numerous requests and short deadlines. They spoke perfect English and even made what seemed like whole hearted attempts to laugh at our humour.

The hotel itself is charming, private and intricately assembled with plenty of attention to detail and interesting areas of the grounds to meander through, including vines on the property itself. We actually woke up in time for the breakfast, which is rare, and the common areas where evening drinks and tapas are available is a perfect space to ease into the evening (excellent house wines and cheese board). The rooms were clean, well sized and had character.

As for wineries, over the course of a little over a day we stopped in at Clos de Chacras (very good lunch), Pulenta (beautiful scenery with vineyards at the foot of the Andes, excellent wines – everyone seemed to love the cab franc), Cruzat (fantastic sparkling, lovely elevated tasting room), Ruca Malen (excellent lunch and setting, very nice wines), Carinae (picturesque boutique) and one other final venue on our self-made tour who’s name now unsurprisingly has escaped me. The staff there were hands down the most patient of all, having the not so glamorous job of dealing with three people at the tail end of a full day of tasting.

Our most memorable meal was definitely at Francis Mallman 1884 – world class food, extensive wine list and the largest piece of meat I have ever seen presented to a family of four, it looked like the rib given to fred flintsone that tips his car over and I’m sure it was delicious. We almost made it to Siete Cocina for dinner, which we heard is also fantastic but were diverted due to unforeseen circumstances (see full day of tastings above).

Overall, great few days made possible by a great hotel and lovely staff.

From arrival to departure this is a class operation, and I highly recommend staying here.
We arrived at the Mendoza airport at the difficult hour of 1 a.m. Having previously notified staff at Finca Adalgisa of our very late arrival they offered to send a car to pick us up at the airport, at a very reasonable price. We were greeted by a friendly and courteous gentleman and whisked away to the hotel, some 20-25 minutes out. Considering the late hour we were happily surprised to find a late night snack of cheese and wine waiting for us in our rustically decorated but very comfortable room. After a long day of traveling this was a much needed perfect welcome.

We stayed in February 2014. On our first day, the Mendoza region was experiencing an unprecedented heavy rain during a normally dry harvest season. Finca Adalgisa suppied large umbrellas to all guests who needed them. The rain pretty much ruled out our using the beautiful swimming pool, but little matter, we still had an excellent view of the pool area and the beautiful vineyards beyond, in fact the hotel is surrounded by malbec vineyards. (We spent our days touring wineries with Trout and Wine Tours, an excellent company which shall be reviewed separately.)

Breakfasts were delicious, but my favorite part of the day was having a glass of the delicious Adalgisa wines with appetizers at the wine bar. I was not prepared for the beauty of the wine bar room, two walls of paned glass with small kiva-like fireplaces in each corner, comfy sofas and cocktail tables, and unsurpassed view of the vineyards. So relaxing, so delicious!
We were invited to attend a Finca Adalgisa Asada (fee of $70US pp). It was a fine experience, delicious food, interesting companions who were also guests of the hotel
.
Our room was very comfortable, bed was excellent, bathroom had all the usual amenities along with a bidet and an excellent shower. I loved the towel warmer!

We were made to feel that we were truly guests in a home rather than a hotel, with gracious and friendly staff, always a warm greeting and a smile. A lovely experience. We were sad to leave and will definitely stay here again.
