“The Perfect Reunion at the Perfect Getaway”
Reviewed 13 November 2013

Wow, in July we were looking around Mt Tamborine for a location for a reunion and the moment we walking into the Manor I knew we had found it and on the weekend of the reunion in October Kerrie couldn't have been more helpful. 6 couples attended and we were given the run of the grounds for afternoon drinks and chats, our own table setup for dinner and on the Sat night Kerrie provided a complementary port to celebrate the reunion.
The room layout is great with the gas fire in the sunken living room and our room had a 4 poster bed (each room is different).
Being less than a 100m from Gallery Talk and with the great food on offer for dinner we just parked the car and didn't need it till we left after the late checkout that the whole group was provided which we needed as we were still chatting in the dinning room at 10.30 after enjoying the best continental breakfast I've ever had.
Highly recommended this venue for your stay on the mountain. Will be back for a couples weekend getaway.

We came, we saw, we were impressed. Had a fabulous weekend at the Manor and will do it again too. We came in a large group and had to fantastic nights chatting, eating and listening to Frank Fodor entertain us with his violin.
The location of Bungunyah Manor puts it in an ideal spot for almost everything up at Mount Tamborine and the layout of the rooms with the sunken lounge area makes for an ideal weekender.

Breakfast was great too, just what we needed after a good night out.

Bungunyah Manor is beautiful and old fashioned, a lovely place to stay. My partner and I were very impressed with how nice the room was and how big! gorgeous soft carpet, sunken lounge, fire place, balcony. Perfect for a romantic getaway. I wish more hotels/resorts were like this. It was quiet and peaceful and I didn't want to leave. Really nice complementary breakfast the next day. Staff were respectful. The view from our room was the pool and the trees. Thinking about it makes me want to go back. Only negatives were - bed was a bit hard (which was said in another review - that didn't stop us) and water pressure wasn't the best. Other than that it was perfect!

We stayed at Bungunyah Manor for one night recently after attending a conference and had a beautiful time. The staff were very friendly, warm and nothing was too much trouble. We arrived back at the Manor after the conference around 6 pm, went straight to the drawing room where a beautiful open fire was lit, and a violin player added ambience to the room. After a nice glass of red, we then made our way to the restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely meal. The waiting staff were informative and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and charming. We ate at the restaurant for a continental breakfast also which was lovely. In reference to a ridiculous review by OZchickybabe; FYI: Continental breakfast does NOT include eggs, or meat. The spread that we were offered was fresh, generous and unexpected. And, considering you make your OWN toast- who's fault is it that it's cold when it reaches your table? Try taking it straight to your table after it pops! Genius! The fruit was fresh and lovely. Please no one take that review to heart. I find it very sad that people can get on these sights and write such untrue rubbish. Please look at 95% of the other reviews which are flattering and complimentary. We would highly recommend our stay, old world charm, with modern day comfort and warm welcoming staff. Thanks Kerrie

A great location at Mount Tamborine in classy comfortable accommodation in a quiet, large and tastefully decorated suite. Add to that superb, friendly service and a breakfast to satisfy the most discerning. What more can we say about a relaxing weekend away. Bungunyah has it all, close to Gallery Walk with its interesting arty, crafty shops and boutiques, as well as a variety of eateries. If you wish to travel further afield, the helpful staff are there to advise and direct. We are convinced we need more weekends away and Bungunyah is the ideal place for us - not too far away from Brisbane but like another world. We'll be back.

Had a lovely time at Bungunyah. Very oldy worldy. Rooms large with plenty of space. Staff very helpful and friendly. Complimentary cheese platter was a fabulous surprise and very much appreciated. The very best thing was the home made fresh Croissants! They are just divine! lovely views.

We had 13 members of our family stay at Bungunyah the night before our Wedding, and didn't realise at the time Bungunyah cater for Weddings had we known we would have had our Wedding with them.

Great location, Large spotless rooms, Excellent service!!!!! and attention to detail. My husband is going to keep telling people he spent his last night with Elvis (Elvis Suite) for a long to come. Looking forward to many more stays - 5 stars from us!!

Thanks for a wonderful and very memorable stay.
